I continue asking Shawn questions, seeing if he knew anything the would prove he was really my best friend, but he interrupted me in the middle of them.

"Meagan, if you don't go get ready now, we're gonna be late for school. Then we'll both be in trouble," he says pushes me up the stairs, "Now go."

I get upstairs, and since I took a shower last night and braided my hair, I go ahead and get an outfit. I picked out my "Problems 99" crop top jersey and a pair of ripped high waisted shorts. I put on my socks and tye die cyan vans, with my galaxy vans backpack (pic above).

I left my hair in the braid because it was a messy, but a cute messy, ya know? I took my phone off the charger, and ran downstairs.

"I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm reading, ready, ready," I sing.

"Finallyyyy," Shawn says way too over dramatic, "Now let's go!"

As he's pulling me put the door, I yell at my mom, "Love you, Mom!"

"Love you too sweetie! Be careful, and have fun," she yells back. Did she just say "have fun"? Is she not aware that I'm headed for school?

"So are you ready for the chemistry test today,"Shawn asks me turning around and walking backwards on the sidewalk.

"WHAT? WE HAVE A TEST TODAY? I HAVEN'T LOOKED AT MY NOTES ONCE, HECK, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THEY ARE," I scream at him causing him to crack up, "I'm gonna fail. Then I'm gonna fail school. Then I'll never graduate. Then I'll never find love. Then I'll die alone and sad. STOP LAUGHING! DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE ALONE AND SAD?"

"You'll never be alone [Did you catch that haha], you'll always have me. I'm not going anywhere," he says smiling at me.

I return the smile, but only bigger, "'Never be alone' huh? Shawn have you ever written a song?"

He looks confused, "No, why would you think I've written a song," he laughs.

"You still play the guitar tho right," I ask as he nods.

"So do we have any classes together," I ask him as he gives a a weird look.

"Um, Meagan, there's two weeks left of school. Shouldn't you know what classes we have together," he says chuckling.

"Oh...yea, ya know, just kidding around," I let out a nervous chuckle and playfully punch his arm.

We arrive at the school, and we part ways as I go to my locker. '25-49-11', I put in my locker combination, and grabbed my math notebook and textbook. Shawn's locker wasn't on the main hallway, as mine was, the only reason I knew was because I watched which way he went to go to his locker. This whole thing is weird, because I remember everything except Shawn being my best friend. But my question is how? Is thirteen-year-old him in the future, or am I in the past?

I was snapped out of my thoughts, when I fall to the ground. I didn't realized it, but I had made it all the way down the hallway, and almost around the corner. I looked up, and saw an unrecognizable face, he put his hand out to try and help me up.

I took the help and bent back down to pick up my books,"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Do you need the nurse?"

I laughed a bit, and smiled, "It's okay, I'm fine. Not to be rude, but I'm not sure that I recognize you, are you new?"

He sighed, "Yes, in fact, today's my first day. Great start, huh?"

We both laughed, "Well, not the best, but lucky for you, I don't hold grudges. I'm Meagan, and you are...?"

He stuck his and out again for me to shake, "Sorry, I'm Mason, Mason Goldstein."

"Well, Mason Goldstein, you do realize that there's only two weeks of school left right," I say giving him a weird look as we walk towards Shawn.

"Yea, I took all my final tests at my old school, so I'm just here to get a feel for the school and the students[Did that make sense]," He says.

"Oh okay, well lucky you, we still have our final exams," I say as we approach Shawn, "Shawn, this is Mason. Mason, this is Shawn. Shawn's my best friend, and it's Mason's first day."

They exchange hellos as I look at the time,"Crap guys, if we don't get going we're gonna be late for class. So, I have Math, then English, then free period,"I pull them to where they walk with me so we're not late for class, "What's your schedule look like Mason?"

He hands me his schedule and I laugh, "Well half of your classes are with me and half of them are with shawn. Speaking of Shawn," I look at him with a inoccent grin, "May I pleasee borrow your notes for chemistry?"

"Sure, I have it all memorized anyways," he says as he hands me two stapled pieces of paper.

We arrive at my math class, "Well Mason, I'll see you at free period, shawn, I'll see you at lunch. Bye guys," I say walking into my class.
