Allāh Subhānahū wata'āla said:
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِى وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الأِسْلاَمَ دِيناً.
"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." (Surah Maidah, 3).

Ibn Katheer Rahmahullāh mentions in his Tafseer of this verse: This, indeed, is the biggest favor from Allah to this Ummah, for He has completed their religion for them, and they, thus, do not need any other religion or any other Prophet except Muhammad . This is why Allah made Muhammad ﷺ the Final Prophet and sent him to all humans and Jinn. Therefore, the permissible is what he allows, the impermissible is what he prohibits, the Law is what he legislates and everything that he conveys is true and authentic and does not contain lies or contradictions. Allah said;

"And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice"

Ibn Jarir recorded that Harun bin 'Antarah said that his father said, "When the Ayah,

was revealed, during the great day of Hajj (the Day of 'Arafah, the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah) 'Umar cried. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'What makes you cry'?
He (Umar) said, 'What made me cry is that our religion is being perfected for us. Now it is perfect, nothing is perfect, but it is bound to deteriorate.'

The Prophet ﷺ said,

You have said the truth.)"

What supports the meaning of this Hadith is the authentic Hadith,

Islam was strange in its beginning and will return strange once more. Therefore, Tuba for the strangers.

Islam is perfect, it is not in need of anything. We as Muslims, should feel immense proud to attribute ourselves to this Perfect Religion. Moreover, we should be extremely grateful to Allāh that He Subhānahū wata'āla chose us to be Muslims. Every single ruling and law of Islam is unique than any other religion on this Earth, it is a complete Way of Life. It has The answer to your every question, the solution to every problem, the clarification to every doubt and confusion.

As mentioned by Ustadh Tim Humble, that we don't know our own heritage. Meaning we became amazed by the disbelievers. People have such an inferiority complex when it comes to the disbelievers. They thing that these guys are something else. They wanna copy them in everything. They want to be like them. In reality, if we knew our heritage, if we knew what Islam really had, what the companions had, the empire that the Muslims had and what it brought to the world! Wallāhi we would never ever lower ourselves down to learn from these people.

Indeed, the success is only in obeying the commands of Allāh and His Prophet.

Now the connection between this chapter and the book is to show Muslim writers and readers who we really are. When the disbelievers are trying their best to spread filth and disbelief through their books then what about us Muslim writers? Shouldn't we spread the correct Islam through every word that we write?

Instead, you see majority of Muslim writers here, adopting the ways of the disbelievers. And by Allāh readers, you should have protective jealousy for your Religion, you should have protective jealousy for its Rulings. I remember one time, there was a Muslim book and in its description author has written, when you across something Haram then don't be like 'oh but it's Haram' because it's fiction. Something along the lines.

Do you know what this is called? Mocking. And mocking anything that is part of Islam is a major sin in Islam. So in reality stories with free mixing, improper Hijab, are all impermissible.

We should be writing our code of Conduct, we should represent the real Islam and not the bottled down version that Muslims of today have created. We should write about the Islam that our beloved Messenger brought.

And Allāh knows best.
