"No, actually. I'm trying to find Anti"

"Huh?"

Marvin stopped meditating again and crossed his arms, looking a little irritated, "I've been in Anti's mind a little before, so I'm trying to hone in on his signature. His brain waves. But I can't quite do it. Something's wrong."

"Not that I understand vhat that means but why don't you just try and locking on to Chase instead?"

"Because I haven't locked on to him before" Marvin explained as if it were obvious, "My only hope was trying to grasp onto Anti but even that is proving to be impossible. It's like he doesn't even exist anymore"

"Strange" Henrik hummed, "Perhaps it has something to do vith whatever he did last night?"

"I don't know. Maybe" Marvin snagged a piece of Henrik's bacon on his plate.

"HEY!"

Marvin ignored him, "I guess we're back to square one again"

Chase went to his own room while Anti tried to fall asleep on the couch. He could tell it wasn't working all that well but Chase figured that maybe leaving him alone might help.

Chase found himself sitting on the edge of his bed staring at a few pictures on the wall.

Pictures of his family.

Guilt wracked his mind.

He wanted to cry but found his eyes were too dry to do so. He had cried far too much already.

He stared at the picture of Stacey holding their son, Grayson, with a big smile on her face.

"I wish I could go back in time. . . . . tell you how sorry I am. . . .  if I could go back, I'd never touch a bottle again"

The pictures remained static but he imagined that she'd just roll her eyes at him.

"Your sister was right. You should have never married me. She saw from the very beginning how worthless I was"

He sighed and clutched his knees with his fists, " .  . . . . Doesn't matter. . . . it's impossible anyway. You're dead and gone and it's all my fault, right? You were right to leave me . .. you got some happiness and freedom before I killed you"

'Maybe it was a bad idea to come in the bedroom right now'

Chase shook his head and picked himself up, walking out of the room and back downstairs.

'I need a fucking drink'

Astonishingly, he hadn't had alcohol since before he was taken by the facility. Just thought of it now made him sick. Perhaps that was for the best.

'If only that happened sooner' he got himself a glass and started filling it in the sink.

He gawked out the window as it started to fill up.

Until he noticed a car parking in front of his place in the street.

He dropped the glass.

'oH SHIT, it's the landlord!'

"SHIT!"

The landlord was already getting out of the car and walking up to the door.

Chase quickly put a chair in front of the door to keep him at bay and ran to the living room to get Anti. It looked like he had fallen asleep again finally but there was no time for that now!
