First, I'm laying down on my back in a field. My hands are at my head and I'm enjoying the view of the bright white moon as the wind tugs slightly at my hair. The stars are extremely bright and the clouds are thin on this lonesome night of shame.

Everything seems to have a red tint tonight.

Don't get me wrong; it's a nice color- my favorite, actually- but it doesn't mix well with the green trees and viridescent grass. I have to say though, it looked very nice on my mother's pastel green nightgown.

And the next thing I know, I'm running.

I'm running through the woods, dashing over branches and darting around trees.

I don't know why I'm even doing this.

It's night time, so it's pretty hard to see. I've tripped a couple times, but my eyes are now adjusted to the dark. At least there's a full moon, right? It's bloody- so bloody- and I think it's slowly eating away at itself. Why would the moon want to die? Well, why did the moon go crazy in the first place?

I come across the edge of the woods. Beyond the trees, I spot a clearing that leads to a cliff. I feel sorry for anyone that can't see at night very well. They could easily overlook that cliff and run right off the edge.

Hearing a scream from behind me, I turn to face the trees again. It probably belongs to some lost girl that saw a shadow or a moving bush. The eyes can always play tricks on you. I learned from a tragic experience.

I move towards the sound, hoping that I'll be able to find someone. Maybe I could direct them out of the woods or even bring them back to my place. It would be easier to clean up there. Everything is great and fun in the woods, though I feel something urging me to take a chance tonight. Maybe I should mess with the police.

After all, I have to get back at those monsters tracking me down.

A couple moments later, I hear the crunching of leaves and twigs. Judging by how often they occur, I assume that this person is running and that they're running in my direction.

Perfect.

They say a couple words to the open, and I can tell that it's a girl. The moment I see this figure appear, I realize that she's running towards the cliff. In slow motion, her hair wisps back and forth across her face, blinding her sparkling, carbonated eyes.

I think I'll save her for later. An accidental fall isn't a good enough cause of death. I can do much, much worse. I'm also curious as to why she's out here. Perhaps she ran away from home or wanted a sense of freedom... Whatever the reason, she'll be regretting it.

When she hits the clearing, I dart towards her.

She sees me from the corner of her eye and screams as I push her to the ground at the edge. I land straight on my hands and look down at her neutral aura. It seems like fate doesn't like her. My eyes immediately scan her fearless pupils and they light up as they notice my enticing view. Some of her hair is caught in her lashes, so I take my hand and move it away.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

I know she won't be later, but I might as well ask now. It helps to gain trust- insurance.

She waits a moment or two and replies, "Th-they're coming."

"Who?" I question.

She lays her eyes back on the woods and starts to struggle. She attempts to get out from under me, but I hold her down and look over at the trees.

And do you know who's standing there? The one person I hate.

I shoot upwards and pull the girl with me. She falls into my arms in an embrace, so I start running away from my enemy and drag her along. It's weird how we're not being chased. It's as if they know we aren't gonna be together very long. Oh, well. I don't like my conversations with those guys anyway. It always ends up with everyone hurt and nothing ending my way.
