Yunjin's eyes widened slightly. "I never should've said that back in Japan. I was just so scared of– of this. Of losing you. You're not giving up on us, Chaewon, you're giving us another chance." She spoke softly as she leaned on the bed.

"One year, remember? And if you're ready before then, that's fine too. I love you– we all love you. One year is nothing when I can spend the rest of my life with you," The girl added with a smile.

Chaewon felt pinpricks in her eyes. She wasn't sure if they were supposed to be tears, since whatever drugs they put her on made everything feel funny. But she frowned, in an attempt to fight against any chance of crying.

"I would really like to kiss you," The short girl mustered, absolutely failing to keep it in. Tears were rolling down her rosy cheeks, onto her wide Bob Ross tee she matched with Yunjin. She blamed the medication.

Yunjin chuckled softly. "Remind me to never bring you to an American hospital again." She grinned before dipping down.

She caught Chaewon's lips, which tasted like salt mixed with honey. But they were soft and gentle, just like always; and even more addicting when she thought about the fact that she couldn't be kissing them as often anymore.

Chaewon placed her hand on Yunjin's warm cheek as she kissed her back. It was sloppy, and not at all her best work, but it filled her chest with a warmth she couldn't explain.

The two of them got so caught up in the moment that they failed to notice the footsteps behind them. Someone cleared their throat, and the footsteps paused.

"I can't believe you're already sucking each other's faces off when she just woke up," Kazuha sighed. "She's awake, guys!"

Yunjin stared into Chaewon's dark eyes, a smile glued to her lips. She pecked her lips once more– then twice– and a few more times before making space for the others.

"Are you feeling okay?" Kazuha asked, inspecting Chaewon's face as if she was supposed to be looking incredibly sickly.

The shorter girl chuckled. "I've just got a huge headache. My body feels all funny from the medicine they put in me," She answered.

"Yeah, Yunjin warned us you'd be having a field trip." The other smirked.

"Chaewon? Chaewon! You had me worried sick, we've been here for hours and I– I can't believe you lied to us, you should know we'll always love you!" Sakura barged into the room, nearly in tears.

Kazuha quickly stepped back to avoid the girl from running her down as she rushed to Chaewon's side. "Oh, you look awful...-ly good! Wow, look at you!"

"Yeah, you did not pull that save off. How are you feeling, Unnie?" Eunchae asked, latching onto Sakura's arm.

"Very woozy," Chaewon mumbled.

Kazuha raised her eyebrows. "Not woozy enough to not be eating each other up." She scoffed.

"As if you're one to talk," Eunchae muttered.

"Wait, what?" Yunjin perked up, her eyes wide.

The youngest crossed her arms when Sakura kicked her shin. "Oh, yeah. They were on the bench in the waiting room, and Kkura was all worried because only one of us was allowed to wait in here. So Kazuha sat with her, comforted her. And I swear I saw them– mmphf!"

The eldest covered her mouth in a state of panic. "She's being so...! That's just totally not...!" She stammered.

Kazuha chuckled. "You're blushing," She hummed.
