"KATHERINE DEAR IT'S TIME TO GET UP!" I heard the old woman yell. She walked into my room and pulled open the curtains, light flooding into the room. I growned and pulled the covers over my head. She came over to the bed and ripped the covers off my body. I shreaked and sat up, eyes wide in suprise and annoyance.

"Alright I'm up!" I whinned, slipping out of the bed and walking into the bathroom to get ready.

"You need to be out of this building on your way to the school in about an hour, have a good day!" She chirpped, walking out of the apartment. I washed my face and applied my make-up. I didn't feel like doing my hair so I just pulled a beanie onto my head and sighed. I put on my light washed jean shorts and an 'All Time Low' t-shirt. I jumped into my black flipflops and grabbed my penny board and backpack with my I-pad in it and laptop, because I'm a loser. I was out the door about half an hour before I was supposed to so I skate around the city, looking around at everything. I found a starbucks right around the corner from the school so I stopped in there and grabbed some coffee. I didn't feel like eating breakfast because I was kinda nervous about going to school. I only had one friend back at my school on Earth because we had been together since kindergarten. I made to the front steps of the school. I looked down at the map of the city and sighed.

"I hope this is the place." I laughed and pushed my board into my backpack and fixing my hair. I nervously walked through the doors and wasn't suprised. It look like any ordinary high school, but everyone looked so strange. Strange hair and skin and clothing that I had seen from walking around the city but now it was all in one place. Some people were  looking at me strangly but I ignored it. I walked into what looked like the front office and made my way to the front desk. The woman smiled at me.

"What do you need dear?" She asked. Her voice was way too high pitched and her outfit was spotless.

"Hi um, I'm new and I don't know like, my schedule and I was wondering what I should do." I asked shyly.

"Oh my you're the new girl! Here, follow me, you need to go meet with the principle." She said. I followed her to and office where an old man sat in an old leather chair, nose deep in a book. "Mr. Davidson, Katherine is here." The secretary said. He looked up and smiled.

"Hello Katherine, please sit. Mary, please leave us so I can discuss everything with Katherine, thank you." He said. She nodded and scurried away. "Hello Katherine, how are you?" He asked, setting the book down and folding his hands on his lap, leaning back in the chair and staring at me.

"Okay..." I said shyly.

"Alrighty good! Here is your schedule and I'll show you to your locker." He handed me a piece of paper and got up from the desk. I slowly rose too and followed him out of the office. As we walked down the halls he explained the history of the school and everything that goes on. The whole time people were staring at me, whispering to the their friends and pointing at me. My eyes faced the floor and I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. We walked up to a locker and I was in aw. He placed his hand on a screen and it light up. "Now put yours on." He said, stepping back. I placed my hand on and it scanned it. The locker swung open with a small popping noice. "Alright, have a good first day and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask me or anybody!" He patted my shoulder and walked off. I sighed and closed the locker, looking down at the paper in my hand. My first class was Telekinesis Practice. Seemed fun so I started to make my way to the class. I walked into the class and only the teacher was sitting there.

"Hello, may I help you?" The man said. He seemed very annoyed that someone was bothering him so I became very nervous.

"Hi, um, I don't know if they told you about me but I'm new. My name is Katherine Harris." I said shyly, rubbing my arm and looking at the ground. He shot out of his chair and walked over in amazement.
