A bracelet dangled between her fingers, small charms adorning the silver chain. It gleamed beneath the sunlight as she held it carefully, examining the simple yet pretty design.

"Do you like it?"

The sound of his gentle voice brought her gaze up to meet his, and she smiled at the boy with his silvery hair disheveled from the wind, nodding. A grin appeared on his face; his aura exuding content.

It was the first time she had gotten a bracelet as a gift, after all. Since only your soulmate can see their name on your wrist, people normally avoided wearing watches and accessories until they found their soulmate.

And now, her soulmate was giving her a bracelet of her own.

"Koushi, help me put it on?"

With a soft expression, he took it from her and placed it over her wrist, fastening the clasp with nimble fingers. His touch lingered on her inner wrist and his fingertips traced words left unseen to her eyes.

Although she couldn't see his name there, she had no doubt he was her soulmate, for the prove was inked right there, on Sugawara's wrist. Her own name, written in dark, bolded cursive letters.

From the time he found her when she signed up to be the assistant manager for the volleyball team, he had treated her with nothing but utmost love and respect. Being together with him made her feel safe and gave her a sense of belonging.

Lacing their fingers together, she smiled up at him.

"Thank you."

He beamed at her, giving her hand a light squeeze as he said, "I'm just happy you like it."

Sometimes she'd feel like she didn't deserve him; like she didn't deserve to be the person who he would forever and always give that loving expression to. Fate, however, granted her the privilege of basking in his warmth and affection.

Just seeing his face; hearing his voice would make her heart soar. And when she saw her name on his wrist, she couldn't help but feel complete.

Because she knew that this reliable and loving man would always belong with her; just like how she would always belong with him.
