Moderate-to-Severe Inconvenience

Start from the beginning

Back at the van, everyone is asleep except for Grey, Wendy and Dipper.

"Well! I'm probably scarred for life!" Wendy jokes (hopefully, either that or coping :p)

"yeah," Dipper says, his voice laced with chuckles, "That was pretty crazy."

Wendy points to the van with her thumb, "I think I'm gonna go stare at a wall for a while and rethink everything," then, her tone lightens again, "hey, next time we hand out, let's stay at The Mystery Shack, ok?"

Dipper laughs nervously, "n next time? Y-yeah-h! Yeah! L-l-l-let's hangout at the shack!" he, again, lets out a nervous laughter as he backpedals, then hops into the van, "next time," he repeats, closing the van door.

"Yo, if it's cool with you, I could drive if you need," Grey offers Thompson, after waking him up.

"Y-yeah, no problem, go ahead, that's cool with me," he says, scootching over in the seat as they open the drivers side door, sit down, and buckle themselves in.

Driving to the Mystery Shack, the only thing that can be heard is various snoring, and Mabel complaining about how absolutely dog-shit terrible she feels. -not in those words, of course, but that's how Grey would describe it if it happened to them.

Pulling into the driveway of the Mystery Shack, the twins unload, and Grey turns to Wendy, "You wanna get off here or get dropped off at home?"

"aaah, It's probably best if I get driven home," she says, "'kinda getting' late, anyways."

"good point, in that case, what's everyone's addresses, not including Thompson cuz this is like, his moms van, right?"

"Yeah, you're right, here, I'll text you, 23-5-14-4-25"

"14-4-what?" Grey asks, typing in the numbers.

"25" she clarifies

"Ight, got it. I just texted you a photoshop of a drippy tortilla chip," they say bluntly.

Wendy starts laughing, "why the hell do you have that?"

"I was bored this morning, I dunno," Grey answers, "anyways- addresses!" they remind her.

"right! Here," She says, typing at her keyboard. Plugging all the addresses into Gapple Maps, they head out to the first stop.

Having already Dropped off Tambry, Lee and Nate, Grey parks the van in a neighborhood, "Ight, this is me," the announce, "you or Thompson?" they ask Wendy. Both of them look at Thompson, fast asleep, then look back at each other.

-"you,"
-"me,"
the two say at the same time.

Grey climbs out of the van, waving at Wendy as she drives off, then walking two blocks to the Gleeful residence. 'no way they're gonna think I'm a rich white prick- or anything like any of the Gleefuls. I don't even know how we're related! Like, I know we are, but is Gideon my cousin? Is Bud my cousin? Is Bud by uncle? Second cousin? Great uncle? -my family is confusing holy shit.'

They unlatch the gate, walking past the Gideon cupid birdbath, unlocking the door and walking in. The lights are off, and after closing and re-locking the door, they glance at the clock on the stove. It's kinda late, not too late, but knowing the Gleefuls, it's probably 'past bedtime' er whatever. As they walk up the stairs and down the hall, they notice Gideon's door cracked and a light on.

Grey opens the door, "knock-knock," they whisper, announcing their presence to (hopefully) only Gideon.

"Greyson!" he whisper yells, spinning in his chair and hiding something behind his back, "wh- what are you doin' up so late?"
