~10 Part 3~

I look at Moro, "okay the realm she's from is that dark aura, mountainous one we ended up in twice while fighting." I explain, "your portal is all set and ready to go, we just gotta get another one up and running before you go."

He nods, "the crystal is probably still by your twin. If you can get it, I can find the other realm."

I nod and look down feeling all my emotions over this finally hitting me. I quickly shake it off though. I can have a moment once Darkness is returned, "how will we close the gate before anyone can follow me through?"

"I'll keep the portal small. If you jump through immediately, and I mean immediately, I can close it and then close mine before they can have time follow."

I quirk an eyebrow with an unimpressed look, "and where will the crystal end up?" I dradpan

He smiles slightly, "don't worry, I'll drop it before I leave. It'll stay in Ninjago."

"Good." I say simply as yet another earthquake happens, "okay, let's go."

I step beside Ronin, who's in the same spot we left him in and whisper, "please give this to Lloyd." I hold out the folded paper.

He doesn't look at me, but opens up his hand and hides the sheet of paper in his crossed arms.

We meet up with the rest of the group by the portal.

My twin walks over to me, "where were you?" He asks, "I was getting worried."

I smile and feel a lump start to form in my throat, but manage to swallow it, "I'm fine. Just had to take care of something with Ronin."

He gives me a weird look, "you okay?"

"He knows something's up. Of course he knows."

I brush it off, "yeah, I'm good. Let's just get this portal situation fixed and put everything back where it belongs."

"I'm lying to him... and yet I'm not lying to him. First Spinjitzu Masters, I am such a bitch."

He snorts, "yeah, I'm with you there."

We go to stand with the rest of the group. I purposefully put myself close to the crystal, but try to look nonchalant about it.

Dad gives me another hug which is literally the best thing at this very moment. I have a fleeting thought that it could be the last one, but shove it away.

He puts a hand on my cheek, "I know it's only been a few hours, but it's wonderful seeing you. I missed you and your brother so much."

I smile, feeling my heartbreak, "yeah, we missed you too. I'm really happy you're not trapped there anymore."

Zane eyes me kinda suspiciously as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he's putting something together as well.

Everyone gets super tense and pissy when Moro walks over. He gives everyone a bored stare as he does.

"Well, it's been absolutely horrible having you here." Jay says, "don't let the portal hit you on the way out."
