~10 Part 3~

Ronin furrows his eyebrows, "so what exactly does this mean for the kid here?"

"Everything has to be returned." I state plainly

Ronin's eyes are slightly squinted as he considers this, "your team ain't gonna like that."

"No they won't."

He shakes his head, "no, let me rephrase that. Your brother ain't gonna like it."

"Which is exactly why you're not gonna tell him."

"Kid, maybe the Darkness has to be returned to her own realm, but that doesn't mean you have to go with her!" He argues

"No one said I did!" I defend, "...but then again we don't know that I don't." I add slowly

"Even if you did, it would lead to the same issues we're dealing with right now. Everything would merge and collapse."

Moro hums, "not necessarily-"

Ronin glares, "-don't be putting anymore ideas in her head." Then he looks back at me, "this ain't something I can keep from your team."

I roll my eyes, "why in name of the First Spinjitzu Master do you even care?" I ask, "you're a con artist who only keeps one person's priorities in mind: yourself. This could potentially stop a lot of issues for Ninjago before they even happen... again!"

His stare is kinda intense now and he speaks very matter of factly, "con artist or not, I know loosing people isn't something you can just get over."

I frown as I really think it over. I look over at the team. They're all together by the one remaining portal. It seems so much bigger with just adding Skylar and Pixal to it. The guys somehow still manage to find time to mess with Cole for having his human form back. He rolls his eyes and sends mock glares at them as they pester him about it... well, while Kai and Jay pester. Zane stands to the side with a soft, amused smile on his face.

Nya rolls her eyes at something Jay says, but quickly turns to the side to hide her smile. Skylar notices and elbows her side, glancing at Jay and wiggling her eyebrows. Nya scoffs and shoves her away, but I can see her blush from all the way her here.

"Good, they shouldn't have broken up in the first place."

Dad and Wu speak to each other, keeping a close eye on the portal.

Lloyd stands beside the group. He keeps glancing between the portal and the team, joining in on the conversation here and there. But he looks happy. I thought it was torture when I was taken by Darkness and away from my twin. The next time we were apart it was my decision to leave, but that doesn't mean it was easy. Then this time, I had the opportunity to stand in Lloyd's shoes and feel what it was like to have him taken from me. And that was the actual torture.

"Can I really do it again? Be separated?"

"No, I can't... but can I really risk something else happening to them or to Ninjago if I'm able to prevent it?"

"Also no."

Another earthquake happens and ends the carefree moment the team had. I stumble a few steps as I struggle to keep my balance.
