Hello, Anti

"They got in my way" the Entity commented.

Chase tried to slide across the wall and try and get past it but the Entity locked eyes with him, silently threatening that he should stay back.

Chase didn't understand. All of this was so fucked up.

"Wh. . .what do you want with me?"

The Entity seemed like it was about to answer when something else caught his attention, "We're out of time. He's too close"

Marvin swallowed, "Who? Do you know him? Please, just tell us SOMETHING!"

The Entity seemed to trust Marvin a little more since he had put down his 'weapons' and he licked his lips.

"A demon. A monster of darkness. A creature of emptiness and manipulation."

"Why do you need Chase?" Jackie asked him.

The creature glanced at Chase again and then back at the hero and magician, "My name. . . . I do not have one. But I am born of Anti-matter. The doctor can tell you more, I'm sure. . . . . but for now. . .. you can call me Anti for short."

"Anti. . . " Marvin hesitated but this could be his one opportunity, "Will you help us against this demon coming?"

"It won't bother you for long. It wants to stop me. I must leave"

"Wait, what!?" Jackie gasped, "No, wait! You can't just leave! You haven't really told us anything! What do you want!?"

All of a sudden, a force crashed through the wall.

A black mass in a humanoid form, horrifying and monstrous, roared as it finally found Anti.

But the Entity was fast and without another second to waste, he grabbed Chase by his arm.

In an instant, they were gone.

Leaving the new creature, Jackie and Marvin alone together.

The dark roaring shadow of a monster looked right at the two of them as if they had gotten in his way.

It had a target.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?" Jackie shouted, "MARVIN! WHAT DO WE DO!?"

Marvin raised its seals again, ready for a fight, "I don't think it wants to talk! GET READY TO FIGHT THIS ONE!"

"HOW!?"

The shadow man ran towards them.

Until a giant robot crashed through the wall in another spot, hitting the creature.

The shadow roared at the robot but a bright light shined out of its arm, vaporizing it instantly.

Jackie had his hands in his hair, "WHOA!"

Marvin relaxed again, sensing who it was, "Well you certainly took your time."

The robot raised its shield up to reveal Henrik inside.

"DOC!?" Jackie was floored.

Henrik crawled out of the robot, walking towards them, "I saw zhe whole thing on the cameras live feed as I was coming. I figured after watching my LA team's black box footage that it was some sort of shadow, I was hoping that blast of light might help."

"Well, yeah, it did!" Jackie laughed, "You killed it on the spot!"

Henrik shook his head, "I didn't kill it. I only scared it off. Marvin, vhat do you think?"

The magician sighed, "I don't even know, doc. The Entity that called itself Anti took off with Chase. We still don't know what it wants with him but I'm guessing he's how it became corporeal. . . somehow. I don't know what else it wants from him, though."

"And now we don't know what this NEW thing wants, either" Jackie put together, "But somehow, it seemed even scarier than Anti."

"Our A.L.T.R. DID seem afraid of it to a degree" Henrik thought out loud, "Whatever zhe case, we need to get Mr. Brody back. I'll call in more defense for the building. We'll start tracking them immediately"

"Right" Marvin nodded.

"Wait. Tracking?" Jackie was even more confused, "But Anti just vanished into thin air! How are we gonna track THAT?"

Henrik cleared his throat, looking a little sheepish, "I may have implanted Chase with a tracking chip in his arm."

Jackie looked disappointed, "Oh . . . doc. . . that's just messed up"

"Messed up or not, it gives us a shot at finding and saving Chase and Anti and finding out exactly what both the Entities want from him"

"I guess" Jackie sighed, already mentally exhausted, "Let's go save a guy. . . . Go team, go"
