Three hours later and the sun was just rising. Me and Jackson was cluthching a mug of coffee as we sat in a small diner a few cities over.
"Hey lugnut?" I asked, using the nickname I gave him. He glared at me, "Yea?" He asked.
"Well we never really talked about anything other than me leaving. So where are we going?" My voice was full of confusion as I asked him.
He looked at me for a second before sighing. "I was thinking about heading to Kentucky. Its got a lot of small towns, making it easy to lay low. And I own a house there that was my Grandparents. But its going to be a big change from the city that your used to." Although I didnt necesarliy like the idea of going to a small town in the middle of no where, I wasnt given an option. So reluctly I nodded my head, "Yea that sounds great."
A few minutes later and the waitress came over with our meal. I had ordered french toast with two peiced of backon and eggs. Jackson had got a pancake stack with bacon. As I stared at the plate in front of me my stomach decided to grumble. I blushed a little before digging in.
When we walked out of the diner I felt it start to sprinkle and heard it thunder in the distance. I smiled, this was my favorite weather. The thunder always calmed me down, and helped me sleep at night.
As I walked to the car the rain was begining to get harder, so by the time Jackson got in he was soaked. He mumbled something under his breath complaining about how mothernature was just trying to ruin his leather seats. I chuckled before turning on the heat for him.
I watched as the busy highways turned into a low trafficked bypass. Shortly after and we was on back roads. Jackson had told me we was only an hour away from the house. "Is that a horse?" I asked amazed. Jackson chuckled from beside me. "Yea, Kentucky is the horse capital of the world you know." My eyes widened, I knew Kentucky had horses but I didnt know that! "And they just walk around wild?" I asked. I was expecting an answer but instead he busted out laughing. Looking at him in confusion I asked why he was laughing. "There is an electric fence there Ry, look closer." As I looked closer I spotter two small white strings that ran across short metal stackes. "You mean those two strings? How does that hold in a horse?" I asked him. He nodded his head yes before elaborating.
"Its got a wire wrapped in with it to shock them if they try to get out. Its not enough to hurt them badly but it scares them." He explained. I nodded my head in understanding.

A little while later and we pulled into a gravel driveway. A large white house set off to the back of the property with a black barn a few hundred feet from it. Two trees sat to each side of the house, and one in the front yard with a tire swing. Flowers were placed in rock beds scattered around the yard. The front porch had hanging baskets dangling down on small silver chains. It was beautiful. "Its lovely lugnut." I said in a daze. I was picturing a old run down house but it was amazing. "Yea my grandmother always did keep it nice, she left it to me and my sister, Brooke. She keeps the place up, acctualy thats her car she must be here." He said gesturing to a Ford truck. My eyes widened as I stared at him like he grew two heads, he wants me to meet his sister and expect her not to ask questions?!?
When he noticed my reaction he looked down and rubbed the back of his neck. "Dont get mad but I kinda already told her your little situation. But dont worry she wont breathe a word, and This house is hers just as much as it is mine and she would demand to know why you were here." Although I wish he would have told me earlier, I wasnt mad so I nodded my head okay. Jackson was getting my bags out of the trunk, as I stepped from the car. Together we walked to the house. I took my bags from Jacksin as he opened the door and called out for Brooke. "In here!" I heard her yell from what apeared to be the kitchen. I dropped my things onto the couch as we went to greet her. Jackson walked up to her and gave her a hug nefore placing a kiss on her forhead. "Hey sis," He mumbled. When he backed out of her embrace he pointed to me Rylin, Brooke. Brooke Rylin. He said introducing us both. I nodded my head in acknowlegment. She had ling dirty blinde hair that was curled to perfection. For shoes she was wearing a pair of boots, paired with a Kentucky Wildcat t-shirt and boot cut jeans. It wasnt my style but she looked cute.
"Can you show me where I will stay, I kinda just wanna unpack and sleep." I asked Jackson. He nodded his head before motioning for me to follow him. I smiled at Brooke before following as he lead me to my room.
The walls were a light gray color and the bed spread was a bright white. My dresser was also white and the dark wood floors apeared to sparkle. There was a bathroom acroos the hall from my room, but would be mine none the less. The closet was huge, but wasnt a walk in. It was goregeous! "I love it!" I said excitidly as I wrapped my arms around Jacksons neck. "Im glad, now Brooke wants us all to go out to eat tonight so you have a few hours before we need to leave." He said, before I nodded my head and watched as he left me in my room to unpack.
I flopped backwards on my bed.
My new home.
A little longer since I wint be able to update till I get back from vacation. Thanks guys
