The eldest parted her lips, unsure of what to say. But Kazuha was staring her down as if she would threaten her entire bloodline, so there was only one option left.
"I sort of... well, it's funny, really–", She stammered. "I already, um... I already knew."
Eunchae was still trying to process everything as Kazuha shot up from her seat. "You what?! And you didn't tell me? How long has this been going on for?!" She whisper-yelled
Yunjin awkwardly sat up, looking like a child that was caught stealing candy. "Listen, I made her–",
"You didn't make her do anything, she's older than you!" Kazuha said before she could finish.
"I made her swear to secrecy and–",
"Best let them fight it out, babe," Chaewon sighed as she snaked her arm around Yunjin's middle. The girl gave up on making her statement, sighing into her girlfriend's shoulder instead.
Sakura stood up, crossing her arms. "When we came back from Japan. Would you want me going around sharing your secrets, too? Should I tell them about the dishwasher?" She asked, her catty eyes now staring Kazuha down.
"Don't you dare bring the dishwasher into this," The girl dramatically gasped.
Eunchae stood up as well, her eyes settling on every member for about ten seconds. She inhaled very slowly, nodding her head softly. "Alright. I'm going to bed." She mumbled.
"See, now you've made our child upset." Kazuha crossed her arms, matching Sakura's pose.
The eldest heaved a long sigh. She wrapped an arm around the youngest and nodded. "Sleeping sounds amazing right now," She hummed dreamily.
Eunchae leaned her head against the girl, her eyes flashing over the pair on the couch once more. Yunjin lifted her head, unsure whether the look in her eyes meant that she was happy or severely disgusted with them.
The young girl sucked in another deep breath, a small smile appearing on her lips. "You don't have to keep it a secret, you know? I'll always love my unnies, even if you're all idiots."
Yunjin laughed as a weight lifted off her chest. "I love you too, smartass." She smiled.
"Hey, what about me?" Kazuha cried.
"We tolerate you." Eunchae grinned, feeling proud of referencing the girl's very cold departure from the airport.
The other smirked. "Touché," She chuckled.
The five of them all managed to squeeze into the bathroom to brush their teeth– but not without the necessary bumping and pestering of each other.
Sakura called her mother to inform her which plane they'd be taking to Japan. Meanwhile the rest of the girls crawled into bed, tucking themselves in nice and tight– whilst Yunjin was glued to Chaewon's side, much to Kazuha's dismay.
She traced figures into her girlfriend's lean stomach whilst she listened to her heartbeat. It sounded slightly faster than normal, and sounded like it skipped a beat every now and then.
"Are you okay, honey?" Yunjin asked, her puppy eyes staring up at Chaewon as she lifted her head slightly. Kazuha pretended to gag– even though her eyes settled onto their leader, filled with worry.
The shorter girl held her breath for a moment. Yunjin felt her supple skin stop moving under her fingers. "I'm fine Jen-jen. Promise," She smiled as she pressed a kiss onto her blue hair.
Yunjin pressed her ear against the short girl's chest again, letting her heartbeat echo through her system as Chaewon held her a little tighter.
Deep down, she knew her girlfriend was lying.
