sweet like candy
strong as can be
fighting off the demons
taking refuge inside me
heart rips in two
my mind tears apart
yours is the only name
that matters in my heart
you keep me safe and warm
sheltering me from all
don't let me break
don't let me fall
your bright eyes light up
the world all around
oh god i pray they never dim
because the demons have begun to pound
my heart hurts
and i apologize too
for everything i've done
and all that I put you through
please keep on loving
loving me and all that you see
lift your head up high
and let yourself run free
away from me you go
away from the darkness that shall reside
deep in my heart
tearing from my pride
stay safe
be good
remember i love you
but never as much as you could
