•Henry's POV•
Today is the day that I'm asking Bianca out to club soda. Im so excited. But the thought of Lily keeps running through my mind. I got out of bed and changed into grey jeans, a red flannel, and my black vans. I brushed my hair and went downstairs. Piper was on the phone screaming at someone, as always. My dad left for work. And my mom was eating waffles.
"Hey sweetie, come eat" my mom said. I sat down and started eating. My phone beeped, signaling I had a text. I had one from Lily.
Lily🙆: Hey Henry, wanna walk to school together?
Me: yeah sure, be there in 10 minutes
Lily🙆: Ok
I finished my waffles and grabbed my bag.
"Bye mom, bye Piper" I said
"Bye honey" my mom said. Piper just ignored me. I walked out the door and started walking to Lily's house. When I got there, she was already outside.
"So, are you ready to ask Bianca" she asked
"As ready as I'll ever be" I said laughing.
*At School*
Lily went to art class so she wasn't here to see me ask Bianca. I saw Bianca by the water fountain and tapped her shoulder. She started coughing.
"Oh sorry" I said
"It's fine, what's up" Bianca asked smiling. I love her smile, I don't even know why I thought that I liked Lily.
"Um...so I got two tickets to club soda for Valentine's Day. Wanna come with?" I asked. She didn't say anything but bite her lip. "Two tickets..." "Club soda..." "I'm just gonna keep talking until you say something" I said
"Sorry Henry, but I can't go with you to club soda" she said
"What, why? Did you want to be asked in advanced or something" I said
"Well yeah" she explained
"Ehh hem!" I heard a voice say. I looked over Bianca's shoulder and saw Charlotte. "Sorry, I just swallowed some 'I told you so'" She said, then walked off
"Plus I've already been asked" she said
"By who?"
"Mitch Bilsky" she said
"Eww, Mitch! But he's so ugly, and a jerk, and MITCH" I said
"Sorry Henry, but you should've asked me earlier" she said walking off. Dangit, now I have two club soda tickets...and no one to share it with.
•Lily's POV•
I sat in art class with Jasper while he went on and on about his buckets. But Henry kept floating through my mind. Also that kiss that almost happened. I should just brush it off.
Art class eventually ended and i had fun with Charlotte. I went into the locker room and put on my gym clothes and put my hair in a ponytail. Charlotte was already at the field. We had to do the mile today.
"Hey Char" I said running over to her
"Hey Lily, did you hear what happened when Henry asked Bianca?" She asked
"No, what happened"
"Well, he asked her and she said no. She would've liked to be asked in advanced. Creds for saying that girls like to be asked in advanced" she said fist pumping. "Anyways...she is already going with Mitch Bilsky" Charlotte said
"Agh, why Mitch. He's a jerk" I said
"I know, but he asked her in advanced" she said
"Awww, poor Henry" I said as we started the mile run.
*At Lunch*
When lunch came around. Charlotte, Jasper, Henry, and I sat down at a table.
"I heard what happened with Bianca, I'm sorry" I said patting his back
"It's alright, I just can't believe she's going with Mitch" he said
"Yeah, he's a jerk" Charlotte said
"Yeah" Jasper said
"Well, maybe you'll find someone" I said
"Yeah maybe" he said
*After School*
After school Charlotte, Jasper, Henry, and I walked to Henry's house. Henry's watched beeped 3 times. He looked at Charlotte and she nodded his head.
"Sorry guys, Char and I have to go somewhere. See you guys later" Henry said and Charlotte and him ran off somewhere.
"Well that was weird" I said to Jasper
"Yeah, very strange" he said
•Henry's POV•
Charlotte and I got beeped by Ray. We went down the man cave and ran in.
"Ray, what's wrong?" I asked
"Um, can you guys clean the floors" he asked
"Really Ray, really" Charlotte asked putting her hand on her hip.
"Ray, I don't have time for this" I said throwing my backpack down
"Geez, what's wrong with you" he asked
"Bianca rejected him today" Charlotte said. I glared at her, she shrugged and went to the tube. "I gotta go though, the floors can be mopped later" she said. "Up the tube" and then Charlotte was gone.
"So what's up with Bianca?" Ray asked
"Well, she's going with Mitch Bilsky. So now I have two tickets to club soda. But no one to go with" I explained
"Oh, Schowz (Sorry, I don't know how to spell his name) can help you" Ray said
"Schowz!" He yelled. Schowz came in
"What do you want" he said
"Henry needs a date for Valentines Day. He waited till the last minute to ask a girl" Ray explained
"What! You can't wait till the lads minute. That's not how girls work" Schowz said
"I know that now" I said
"Let him use Gerda" Ray said. Schowz said ok and called in Gurda. Gurda came in. She was big and scary.
"Um...i don't think she's my type" I said
"Gurda's a robot and she can change the way she looks" Ray said. "Schowz, demonstrate" he said. Schowz pressed a button and Gurda changed into a pretty girl about my age.
"Hi I'm Delilah" she said
"Hi Delilah" I said
"Delilah will surely make Bianca jealous" Ray said
"But if I want to make Bianca jealous then let's do a high school girl" I said. Delilah changed into a high school girl.
"Hi, I'm Tiffany" she said
"Yep, that'll do" I said. We all laughed. I'm defiantly gonna make Bianca jealous. But one thing ran through my mind. Is Lily taking someone? And if she is, who?
