"UGH!" Felix flops back on his bed, dropping the controller. "Stupid zombies." He mutters, kicking his feet in annoyance. The screen in front of him flashes red with a bright GAME OVER and R.I.P. sign.
He sat up, turning the game off after hours of playing and returned to his abandoned homework. The boy had taken a what was supposed to be a short break two hours ago and ended up getting caught up in his favorite game.
The blonde sighed, staring down at the instructions for the project he was supposed to be doing with Hyunjin.
Hyunjin.
That night...
Felix hadn't stopped thinking about that night since he woke up. It had revealed his true feelings, that he really liked the elder. He had been so nice, and gentle and made him feel so good...
The boy jolted up in his seat, pushing away the thoughts before they got out of hand. He glanced at his phone, he wanted more. That night again, but he didn't know how the other felt. What if it was just a one-night stand? Just a hookup?
What if Hyunjin didn't care? All these thoughts scared him, knowing how much he liked the elder. Felix snapped to look at his phone at the sudden ringing. The blonde grabbed it, eyes widening when he saw Hyunjin's number.
"Hi Hyun." He answered, blushing when he realized the nickname he'd said.
"Hey Lixie, Minho wants to know Jisung's address for the math project." Hyunjin asks him.
"Oh yeah, it's 0325 on Thornes Street downtown. I'll call him as well, so he knows that Minho's going." He replied.
"Thanks, I'll see you on Monday?"
"Yeah-wait, actually, could we meet up tomorrow to work on the project?" Felix played with the hem of his shirt, nervous for his answer.
"Oh my god I completely forgot about that! That would be great, how about the library at 10, I'll bring coffee." The blonde smiled, blushing slightly.
"That would be great, thanks. I'll see you then, bye."
"Bye!"
He threw the phone onto his desk and jumped onto his bed. Felix didn't know why, but the thought of seeing the elder so soon made him indescribably happy. He would get to hang out with him, and hopefully talk about their relationship.
With excitement, he settled under the covers, wanting the morning to come as fast as possible.
*~*
The annoying alarm rang through the room, pulling Felix from his sleep. He groaned, rolling over and smacking the button to turn it off before sitting up and rubbing eyes. He stretched and yawned but quickly froze.
He was seeing Hyunjin today. At 10 am.
The boy checked his phone, flying out of bed when he saw it was 9:30. In his excitement for the morning last night, he'd forgotten to change his weekend alarm to be earlier. Felix ran to the bathroom, brushing his messy hair as the shower warmed up.
The blonde jumped in, scrubbing his body with strawberry scented soap quickly and washing his hair. When he got out, he dried off and ran to his closet, hastily opening the door and flicking through his clothes.
He pulled out a black Nirvana shirt, chucking it on before putting on boxers and rushing to his chest of draws. Felix pulled out some ripped jeans and pulled them on, speeding back to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
Grabbing his phone, laptop, and stuffing the work he needed in a bag, he sped downstairs, grabbing an apple and holding it in his teeth as he slid on his shoes. Felix ran out the door, fumbling to lock it with his keys and started jogging down the footpath.
As he ran, the blonde checked his phone, speeding up when he saw it was 9:58. Luckily, he lived just around the corner from the library and smiled when he saw it up ahead.
Panting, Felix pushed open the glass doors and walked into the cool room. He bowed to the librarian and looked around, smiling wider when he saw Hyunjin sitting at a table, frantically waving for his attention.
He walked over, sitting in the chair next to him and pulling out his books and laptop.
"Hey, how was your morning?" The elder asked as he placed a coffee cup in front of the boy. Felix smiled as he set up his stuff.
"Rushed, I woke up at like 9:30 and had to get ready quickly and run here." He laughed. Hyunjin hit his shoulder.
"You should've called, I would've picked you up silly." The blonde blushed.
"It's okay, I wouldn't make you go out of your way for me-"
"I would be happy to pick you up anytime, because it's you." He grabbed his pen, not making eye contact as he spoke to the younger. "You wouldn't be making me go out of my or be a burden, I'd be happy to drive you anywhere. It'd mean I'd get to be with you longer." He whispered the last part.
Felix blushed and turned to his work, not sure what to say.
"I've done the title slide and set up the slides to work on." Hyunjin started, moving the conversation to what they were there for.
"Okay, what laws do you want to focus on?" The younger replied, expecting to just split the slides between them. The elder scratched his neck awkwardly.
"I was thinking we could work on each one together, because I don't know much about index laws since I never really learnt about them." Felix was surprised but laughed, making the other confused.
"What's so funny?" Hyunjin asked as he also started to laugh, the boy's laugh was just too contagious. The blonde, in his fit of giggles, leaned against the elder.
"I-was hoping-you would-say-that!" He manages to say.
"And why is that?" The other looked down at him, admiring his features. Felix calmed down, but didn't move from where he was slumped against Hyunjin.
"Because I don't know jackshit about index laws!" Now it was the elder's turn to burst out laughing.
"SHH!" The librarian shushed them loudly, causing the two to hold back their laughs for a minute before they finally stop laughing. Felix shifted, looking up at the elder. He froze at how close they were, holding his breath.
Hyunjin felt his gaze and turned, eyes widening but he didn't move away. Millions of thoughts ran through the younger's head. After a moment of neither moving, the blonde closed the gap, hand coming to the other's neck.
The elder kissed him back, hand going to his waist, ecstatic that he was feeling the same way. They kissed until they had to breath, until they would faint in each other's arms if they didn't. Felix was panting slightly, and his lips were glossy.
"Lixie, will you be my boyfriend?"
It felt like time had stopped. Like it was just them and nobody else mattered. The air froze around them and all the boy could see was the person in front of him. Instead of answering immediately, he leaned up, kissing him again for a moment teasingly.
"Yes, yes I would love to be your boyfriend." Hyunjin smiled, wider than he'd ever done before. He clapped his hands and turned back to their work.
"Okay, now let's get started on learning index laws," He bumps his shoulder with Felix's. "Boyfriend." The younger giggled, nodding.
A/N
My friend rxioxxcx is writing a satire minsung story rn that you should have a look at. I think it's funny and me and other friends have enjoyed the first chapter and how ridiculous it is.
Also, this book will only be 20 chapters and on the 1st of November I'll start posting my next work.
If you've enjoyed this (even though its definitely not my best writing) please go check out my other things!
