The four walked down the hall, nearing the door to their next class. It was art, Hyunjin's favourite. His friends, however, heavily disliked the subject as they found it boring and couldn't fathom why the tallest liked it.

He entered through the door, the rest of the group tailing behind. His footsteps were light as his eyes travelled the room. They landed on the blonde-haired boy on the other side of the room, staring back at him.

Hyunjin pulled out a chair at the only empty table and sat down, eyes not breaking away from the younger. As his friends sat down, the tallest winked at Felix, causing his cheeks to go visibly red and for him to turn around quickly.

The elder finally broke his gaze and let out a laugh at the flustered boy.

"What was that about?" Chan asked, eyebrow raised and a knowing smirk on his face. Hyunjin looked to him, feigning confusion.

"What was what about?"

Changbin laughed and looked at him.

"The wink you sent to that boy! It was obviously something." He nudged the younger. Hyunjin rolled his eyes.

"We were just talking in math, that's all!" He defended. Minho scoffed next to him.

"Sure you 'just talked.' It's clear you're already whipped for him." The other blushed at the thought.

"It doesn't matter. Let's focus on the lesson." He said as the teacher started to write on the board after asking everyone to listen. Bangchan pulled his book and pen, writing a title in fancy cursive and immediately paying attention to the teacher, ready to take notes.

Changbin begrudgingly pulled out his book, folded and ripped in multiple places from repeatedly being shoved into his bag. He flicked through pages with doodles and scrawly handwriting, smoothing a random page in the middle.

Minho pulled out a single piece of used paper, one side covered in small pictures and curse words. He flipped to the blank side, ignoring the teacher as he started to draw a hand flipping off the world.

Hyunjin pulled out his workbook and sketchbook, getting a page for notes before starting to sketch for a painting he wanted to do sometime. He went back and forth, copying things from the board into his book and then shifting to delicately drawing light lines on in his artbook.

His head snapped up when the teacher started speaking again.

"Alright students, today we will be looking at colour theory and then experimenting with it over the next few lessons." She pointed to a circular chart with different colours on it. "If you see here, the colours opposite to each other are called complementary colours. Then, if you look..." Her boring voice faded into the background as Hyunjin sighed and focused on his sketch.

Colour theory was easy for him, and he'd learnt about it years ago so this lesson was pointless. He blocked out everything around him in concentration, so when his shoulder was tapped, he jumped in his seat.

"Minho, what the hell?" He whispered as the teacher droned on. The elder smirked.

"I just wanted to know more about blondie over there." He nodded to Felix, who was watching Jisung tried to balance their friend groups water bottles on top of each other on the desk. Hyunjin subconsciously smiled fondly at him.

The other smacked his arm, drawing his attention back to their conversation.

"See! You have that look on your face!" He accused. Hyunjin sighed, knowing there was no use denying it.

"His name is Felix, alright, happy?" He asked.

"No. Tell us more." Changbin spoke up from the other side of him, a little too loudly as Chan looked at them, shushing them before going back to his notes.

"Jeez, calm down try hard." The shortest focused his attention back on the tallest. "So, what's he like? Does he like you? How's he able to put up with your dramatic ass?" The other rolled his eyes and leaned back on his chair, abandoned his pencil on his sketchbook.

"All we did was talk in math." He shrugged. "And Felix helped me with some questions. That's it." He turned to Minho.

"You know, he's a pretty good teacher, you should ask him for some help, considering your math skills resemble those of a preschooler." He suggested, smirk on his face.

"Nuh-uh. No way. Never." He shut down immediately, looking over to the table where the other's sat. As he did, Jisung looked up, making eye contact with him. Neither moved for a second before they both broke it, blush creeping up their cheeks.

"Seems like I'm not the only one with a with a crush." He nudged the elder. Minho turned to him.

"So, you admit it? You have a crush on him?" He shot back. Changbin laughed, clapping his hands loudly and catching the attention of the teacher.

"Something funny, Mr. Seo?" She asked sternly. The entire class looked to the friend group, Chan mentally face palming.

"Uh, no miss." He spoke, holding back another laugh. Hyunjin and Minho kept their eyes on their workbooks, pretending to be busy as they also held back from bursting into fits of laughter.

"If you say so, but next time I'm sure the class would love to know what was so funny." She turned back to the board and resumed her teaching, regaining most of the class's attention.

Changbin burst into silent laughs when she'd looked away.

"Did you see her face?" He whispered, imitating her expression and making the other two laugh quietly. Chan smacked his head with a pen, making the others laugh more as he pretends to be hurt and rubbed his head.

"How could you Channie? I thought we were friends!" He said pouting as he hid back a smile. The elder rolled his eyes and went back to taking notes. The other two eventually stopped laughing, Hyunjin going back to his sketch and Minho going back to his graffiti like drawings.

As the lesson nears its end, the tallest glances up, seeing the blonde boy ahead of him. The light streamed in from the window, hitting him and illuminating him like an angel. He had a smile on his face as he talked to his friends animatedly, notes forgotten in front of him.
