The next morning Jisung strolled to school without a problem, listening to his favourite songs as he went. The streets were busy, but happier than any other workday of the week. The air was buzzing with happiness for it was nearly the weekend.
Friday.
The best day of the week. When it was nearly the weekend, when the teachers didn't care too much about work and slacked off. When it felt like the air was fresher and the grass was greener. Jisung loved Fridays, just as much as anyone else, if not more.
Felix waved from the school gate, just as he did everyday but with a slightly wider smiler.
"Excited for the weekend?" He asked the elder once he was in earshot, Jisung now realizing why he seemed just a little bit happier.
"Yeah. Hey, where's Seungmin and Jeongin?" The blonde sighed dramatically.
"Baby bread forgot his book in a class on the other side of the school yesterday, so Minnie's helping him get it before class, leaving me all alone to wait for your slow ass." He poked the other's chest, trying to keep a serious face.
Jisung swatted away his hand and laughed.
"Not my fault-wait!" He suddenly gasped, grabbing the younger's wrist. Felix turned to him, wide eyed and worried.
"What is it Sungie!?" The blonde asked, freaked out. The elder's eyes were trained on his neck, looking at the multiple love bites in different shades of purple. He reached up, brushing them with his fingertips and causing the other to reel back, covering his neck.
Jisung gaped at him, a smirk forming on his face when he realized what he'd done.
"Lixie!" He smacked the boy's shoulder. "You got dicked down and didn't tell me? I'm offended." He turned away, pretending to wipe a tear but whipping back around before Felix could speak.
"Who is it?" He started walking again, trying to get away from the onslaught of questions that was bound to come. Jisung grabbed his hand, shaking his arm as he started begging, ignoring the weird looks from other students.
After nagging and repeating the same phrase for five minutes, Felix relented and pulled him into a bathroom, locking the door.
"Fine, but if I tell you, you promise not to tell anyone?" The elder vigorously shook his head.
"Okay, he was Hyunjin." Jisung gasped and grabbed his hands.
"How was it? Was he nice? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He rattled off. The blonde squeezed his hands to stop the boy's rambling.
"It was amazing. He was really kind and gentle. After, he stayed the night, cuddling me to sleep, and when I woke up, he was still there. He brought me pain medication and made breakfast for us before he had to leave a little bit before I did." Felix fully explained, a dreamy look in his eyes.
Jisung pounced forward, wrapping him in a tight hug.
"I'm so happy for you Lixie!" He pulled back, a serious expression on his face. "But if he ever hurts you,' He punched his palm. "You better tell me." The younger burst out laughing.
"I promise to tell you if he ever hurts me, okay?" He agreed, giving his friend another hug as the bell went.

They breeze through science, secretly talking with each other the entire time and playing games. Though he was having fun, the elder dreaded next period, math, and having to sit next to Minho again.
Rings sound through the classroom, signaling the end of the lesson.
The two entered the class, their friends sitting inside already, a very sad Jeongin looking at a soaked math book. Jisung gestured to it and Seungmin pointed to the youngest's mostly empty water bottle, explaining the situation.
The boy nodded, hiding a smile, and sat in his seat, pulling out his book and pen and waiting for the teacher. Soon after, the four new students from the day before entered, going to their seats. The boy didn't miss how flustered his friend looked when Hyunjin walked to sit beside him.
And how genuinely happy both seemed to be.
Minho sat beside him, blocking his view and causing him to shift his gaze out the window. The other pulled out his stuff and watched as the teacher walked in.
"Good morning class, today, we have a fun project you'll be introduced to!" She said, all too cheery. Beginning to write on the board, she explains further.
"Between now and Tuesday next week, you and your desk partner will be creating a presentation on the seven index laws as a way to help prepare for your algebra exam. You will be given all class time today and Monday to work on it, add on any extra time out of class you wish to do. On Tuesday, you will have to present it to the class. Good luck and get started now."
The two glance at each other as the classroom explodes into chatter. Jisung avoids his gaze, unsure what to do. Minho does the same, equally as nervous.
"Seeing as we don't have much time for it, we should probably work on the project after school." The elder nodded along, agreeing with his words.
"Whose house do you want to work at?" The boy asked.
"Yours." Mino answered quickly. Jisung raised an eyebrow but didn't question it.
"Okay then, what times are you free?" He opened to a page in his book, starting to write down stuff about the project, dates and times.
"Um, not sure, I'll have to check with my boss to see if I can have the night off from...jobs." The elder added, looking at his own blank book.
Right, Jisung had almost forgotten that he was talking to a drug dealer in a gang.
