Time to stop looking.

Yunjin felt her skin grow hot. "You're not naked, don't be dramatic." She mumbled.

Chaewon raised her eyebrows. "Let's see who's dramatic once you start complaining that I've traumatised you with my ti–"

The girl's head snapped towards her best friend. If looks could kill, Chaewon would be dead on the ground. And then her ghost would be killed again.

"I'm just messing around!" The girl said, gesturing at the other to calm down.

Yunjin sighed. She kept her eyes on Chaewon's face this time, and not a single centimetre past it. Except maybe a few glances.

"You've got a– thing." The girl waved in the general direction of Chaewon's waist.

"A what?" The other asked, cocking an eyebrow.

This was all going very wrong. "A– thing, you know, on your– thing." Yunjin stammered, wanting to bash her head into the wall.

"Jin, you're not making any sense." Chaewon reminded her.

Yunjin couldn't think straight. And she couldn't think about why she couldn't think straight, because everything was confusing and wrong and unfamiliar. This wasn't like the confident, cool and loud Yunjin.

Welcome to loser Yunjin.

Sucking in a deep breath, she took a few steps forward. She allowed herself to look down at the hem of Chaewon's pants, which ultimately led to her eyes being glued to her stomach again. Absent-mindedly, she hooked her finger under the hem, and tucked a price tag neatly inside.

"All better," She mumbled, her fingers lingering on the girl's soft skin.

Chaewon chuckled. She unexpectedly snaked her arms around Yunjin's middle, pulling her into a hug. It took the taller girl a moment to adjust before wrapping her arms around her best friend as well.

She let out a breath as she sank into the embrace. This was everything that was familiar: the girl's sweet perfume, her hair tickling her nose and the warmth of her body.

"What's this for?" Yunjin hummed. The feeling of Chaewon's bare skin on her arms was hard to describe. It felt like little pinpricks: like she was holding something that shouldn't be touched. And yet it felt right, as if it was a secret that was safe between just the two of them.

The other drew circles on Yunjin's back, sending a wave of tingles up her spine. "Just felt like it," She answered.

"You like me that much?" The taller girl laughed softly. She felt Chaewon's movements pause for a few seconds.

The girl pulled back a little to look into Yunjin's eyes. Their arms were still around each other, so secure that it seemed like they were both scared of letting go. The two of them were silent for a little while.

Yunjin felt anxious again. She felt as if her breath was betraying her and her heart was beating a little too loudly for comfort, unlike a minute ago.

"You should get dressed." She quickly said, swallowing her nerves.

Chaewon sighed, leaning her head forward against Yunjin's collarbones. "I know. I'm just tired, I haven't been sleeping well." She mumbled.

The other brushed her hand through her best friend's short hair. "You know you can just come to me when you're unable to sleep, right? I'm usually up late writing songs and whatnot." She said.

With a hum, Chaewon finally released the girl. Yunjin's skin felt cold and barren as the girl went over to her closet to pick out a cropped top. She wanted her to come back and hold her again.
