I was eating some hidden ice cream until my brother comes home from work ,after a few minutes i hear his truck pull in the driveway so i quickly go to hide the icecream bucket ,i heard the front door open so i go and get a glass of water
" rae im home!" I hear him yell
"Im in the kitchen " i say as i walk past him and go to the sofa with my glass of water full of ice
"What are you drinking?"
"My iced water"
"Stay here i will go quickly take a shower and come to talk with you"
He says as he goes upstairs
After what felt like 20 minutes he comes downstairs and sit on the sofa next to me
" guess whose records i saw today?" He says with a smirk
"Whose"
"Your's dummy"
"So?"
"You are overdue a checkup "
"Carson no!" I tried to get up and leave but he got a good grip on my waist and pulled me gently back down
"Tommorrow you are coming at the office after school"
"Carson no ,i won't come and that's it you can't make me do it "
" why rae why when i tell you that it seems like you get out of your mind its not a big deal"
"Yes it is "
"Then talk to me ,tell me why you bring this over when it comes to my clinic"
"Im not coming and that's it ! You can't make me ,you have no rights to make me do it i can't carson i can't i just can't!!" I say as my eyes fill with tears
"Calm down ,princcess" he says as he pulls me in a hug and puts his musculous arms around me
"I can't carson you have to understand it" i say sobbing
"Raelyn you have to talk with me about it because its not normal at all baby why are you so panicated about a check up and at all why are you panicked everytime i bring in the disscusion dental things?"
"I-i-im scared ,i hate the dentist i hate when you go on the dentist mode you seem like you only want to hurt me behind that mask i can't carson honestly i can't" telling him that felt like a heavy stone was moved from my heart
"Raelyn baby why didn't you tell me sooner ,i would of booked full appoiments with you ,the only time when i have a chance to see your teeth is when i book quick appoiments because i didn't tought so much about your fear ,but only if you told me sooner i would have paid more attention"
He says everything in a breath
"Im sorry" i lean my head back on his chest as i was on his lap
"You don't have to be you know im not willing to hurt you"
"Yeah ...but promise you will never strap me against the chiar"
" why would i ?,just only if you end up falling asleep and i need you still"
"Carson!!" I say a bit louder and he laughs with his white pearly teeh
" woah your teeth are so white and beautiful when mine are ugly and crooked"
"Don't say that you are very beautiful. Too"
We stayed like that for a few good minutes

I move rae a litlle and her arms got more of a grip on my waist so i let her sleep and i end up also falling asleep
