DEATH was supposed to be the end. The IRL game over! And she didn't know how or why but she's pretty sure she died. So, imagine her surprise when she opened her eyes (a shock on its own) to..
Hell?
Well.. not really?
But like, how would one explain the blazing sky and the field of ashes and metal her bloody self is laying in? She never been religious, but she's not averse to going somewhere when she died and any just-died gal would instantly assume that this place fits the description for the different levels of eternal damnation.
It didnt help that the first face she saw is a battered old man, which she assumed is most likely a fellow dead person, but when his burnt raw skin healed with a mysterious golden glow while her injuries mimic it at a slower pace, it intrigues her.
Where in hell is she? Or is it purgatory?
I can't be right? Not when, she gets jettisoned to different places that are certainly not hellish, but are quite nice.. meeting people who helps, guides and love her more than she does herself.
Especially those men.
Impossible men bearing the same name. A timelord that she cant escape from, some faces who look at her like she hung the stars that he travels in in that impossible blue box.
