Part 3 (part one of part three)

I don't except meliodas to agree, who would after all no one want to marry someone who's pretty much a stranger to them an-

"I would love that"

I freeze, did he just?

"W-what?"

"If we could get to know each other better...I would love that"

I'm shocked but quickly replace it with a smile

"Alright then, let's do this then"

He looks over at me and smiles

"Blake I really want this to work..."

I'm surprised, he was actually being genuine..that's a first

"And so do I Meliodas, so let's make this work"

I takes his hands in mine

"Together"

He nods

"Together"

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and soon it had been three years since that day

"Can I look now?"

Meliodas asks with the blindfold over his eyes while I hold his hand to guide him

"And..... now"

He slowly takes it off before gasping

"B-blake please don't tell me-"

On one knee, I open the small box containing the ring.

"Meliodas Ire, I've known you for years and you've always been the light off my life, confident, brave, strong, caring, kind, and most of all you. So please, will you marry me?"

Tears stream down his face as he jumps into my arms

"Yes yes yes!"

I pick him up and spin him around before gently kissing him. After a few seconds I pull away

"I love you Meli"

"I love you to Blake"

Fast-forward after the wedding, I'm in meliodas and I shared bedroom while he's in the bathroom. He walks out holding something

"You okay baby?"

I ask with a bit of concern in my voice

".... please don't be mad"

I stand up and walk over to him before grabbing his hand

"Baby there's nothing you can say that will ever make me upset with you and that's a promise so please tell me what's wrong.

He looks reluctant for a second before he speaks

"...I'm pregnant"

I freeze

He looks up at me

I look at him

His eyes water

"Really?"

I ask

He sadly nods

"Babe that's amazing we can finally start our own family... together"

He looks up at me, his eyes watering with tears threatening to spill from his beautiful eyes

"You're not mad at me?"

He asks timidly

I pull him close to me and stroke his hair

"Of course not love, this is the best news you've told me- well since you said you would marry me of course"

He giggles a bit, that makes my heart flutter

"I love you so much Blake"

I smile and pull him closer

"I love you too Meliodas"

About 8 months later

"He looks just like you"

I say to meliodas who's half asleep. I'm holding our newborn baby, Tristan in my arms.

I lean down to meliodas and kiss his forehead

"Rest, you need it"

He sleepily nods before drifting off to sleep.

Tristan coos in my arms and I gently stroke his face

"Come on now Tristan"

I start

"Let's go so mama can get some rest"

All of that happened in four years, the best years of my life. I thought it could stay like that forever, but like Meliodas said...nothing last forever, thats just part of life...I just didn't expect the downfall of our race to happen so soon...and so suddenly

Present day (I'm terrible at writing fight scenes so we're gonna just pretend that they were fighting and Blake is losing and now near death)

"Give up, you've already lost"

I struggle to get up, leaning on my word for support

"I..would rather....die!"

He scoffs

"Then die..."

With one swift swift moment he stabs my last heart.

I drop to the ground.

The last thing I see is Meliodas.

Running over to me.

He's crying.

Tristan is crying.

I'm trying to say something.

I can't.

That guy...

He's dragging Meliodas and Tristan away..

meliodas saying something...

I can't...

I can't hear what he's saying

'i love you'?

...oh....

I love you to Meliodas....I'm sorry I couldn't protect you...I'm so sorry

Then everything goes blank
