I woke up to the banging of my door. "Coming!" I shouted, reluctantly getting out of the bed. I rubbed my eyes and yawned. I had actually gotten some sleep after listening to Jupiter last night, and technically I slept in so I couldn't complain.

I opened the door to reveal a bright-faced Jupiter in a pair of shorts, a baggy t-shirt, and a black nike track jacket. Her hair was in a loose ponytail and little ringlets framed her face. She actually looked kind of... cute. Oh god what am I saying?!

"Morning!" She said with a bright smile. I gave her a blank look. She pouted. "Anyways, Kenji wants us over there at 2 so we can discuss the plan for tonight."

"What plan? And what time is it?" I said stretching out my arms and yawning. She pulled out a phone from her pocket and looked at the time.

"It's 11:30 and Kenji doesn't tell us until we get there so be ready by 1:30 I'm picking you up." And with that she turned around and walked down the hallway.
"Jupiter wait! Hey!" I don't even want to be a part of their gang or whatever it is. And why do I have to go? I sighed and closed the door pinching the bridge of my nose. I had only known her for half a day and she was already giving me headaches.

~~~
Jupiter came to get me with the huge bag on her shoulders again. "What's in that thing?" I asked her. "Shhh it's a secret." I looked at her quizzically before getting in the elevator.
"Guns." She blurted out.
"What?"
"There's guns in this bag."
"Why didn't you just tell me when I asked?"
"Because theres something called nosy neighbors." She said in a matter-of-factly tone. I shrugged, fair enough.
We got to her garage level and I looked around. There were security guards walking around and super nice luxury cars, then I saw mine.
"Why is my car here?" I asked her. It was a beat up old Mercedes that I'd had forever. It got the job done, but it looked way out of place here.
"I brought it this morning, but we're taking my car."
Since when did she have time to drive over there and then drive back with my car? I wouldn't press the issue.
Jupiter smiled at all the guards we passed and even had a few conversations with some. She was very friendly with the staff. After a little walking we reached a white Jeep Wrangler. It looked brand new.
"Is this new?" I asked.
"Yeah I got it a couple weeks back." She said climbing in. I walked around and got in the passenger side. It still had that new car smell.
She started the car up and pulled out of her space. "So, I have an important question for you," She said while driving out of the apartment complex.
"And that question is?"
"Do you have a criminal record?"
"Uhh. What?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes.
"A criminal record. Do you have one?"
"N-no, I've never even been pulled over before." I mumbled. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"DNA samples. If we leave DNA they can only track is if we're in the system."
"Ohh. Wait why does that apply to me?"
"You're coming on today's mission, duh."
I clenched my fist. "No I'm not. I didn't agree to any of this."
She laughed at me. I didn't see how any of this was funny.
"Unless you want Kenji to shoot your brains out, you'll be going on this mission."
I broke out in a cold sweat. That's right, I'm only alive because of Jupiters bargaining.
