I opened my eyes and was blinded by the bright lights in the room, followed by the hammering headache I had. I sat up and looked around.

I was in an unfamiliar room with white walls, a small chair in the corner and a door facing my bed. I was no longer in my work clothes but some grey sweats and a large black sweatshirt. I tried to recollect my thoughts but the only things coming to me was the confrontation in the office. I had no idea how I got here.

I heard some voices outside the door. They were discussing something. "Aww c'mon it was a coincidence. I was being super careful!!" It was a females voice.

"And?? You need to be more cautious next time. Why didn't you kill him?" The voice belonged to a male he sounded about my age or younger.

"He wasn't our target, plus he had some skills. He might be useful to us."

"Whatever, just do what you want, but don't make me regret this."

"Okay!!!" She let out a small giggle. I guess for her small victory over the mystery man. I saw the door open and she walked in. It was the girl from earlier.

I felt scared and my muscles tensed up. I had goosebumps and the memories from earlier flooded in again. All I could see was his dead body on the floor.

"Stay away from me!" I shouted at her, crawling up the bed. She cocked her head to the side. "What's the matter with you?" She took a seat on the small chair and starred at me intensely, like I was the crazy one.
"What's wrong with me?! You killed somebody! How do I know you're not going to do the same to me?!"
She rolled her eyes. "I just talked to Kenji about you. Don't worry about it. You're safe here."

"How do I know you're not going to shoot me dead right here?"
She lifted up her large sweatshirt the almost reached her knees to reveal she had nothing on under there except underwear. I blushed and looked away. "Okay okay I believe you."
She laughed at me. "Anyways you need to eat so come with me."

"I still don't trust you," I said to her. She shrugged her shoulders. "That's not really my problem."
~~~
We walked through dimly lit hallways and took some stairs. If it were me I would never know my way around here. What even is this place? She walked ahead of me, swinging her arms back and forth and humming a song. She really was a child. 23 my ass. "So what's your name?" She said out of the blue. We had been walking in silence before and the only sound was her humming. "I'm Key." I said realizing I didn't know hers. "What's yours"
"Jupiter,"
"Jupiter?"
She turned around with her fists balled up in her long sleeves. She held them at her chest and pouted. "What's wrong with my code name?"
"Oh, umm, nothing I've just never heard that before." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
"Huh, ok. You should get one too, unless you don't mind Key."
"Key is fine, thank you. Does everyone here have a code name?"
"Nope, unless they want one. So far it's only me."
"Why?"
"Because I'm dead."
I jumped back. "What?!"
She laughed and kept walking again. "The government thinks I'm dead, but I'm alive and well."
That makes sense. I mean I knew I wasn't dealing with a ghost.
We rounded a corner and walked to a large open room with a couple people sitting together at a table and food in the center. They looked up when we walked in. Some waved hello and others continued to eat.
The room had a tall ceiling and floor to ceiling windows that looked out at the city. It was nighttime and view honestly took my breath away. I looked around some more and there was a little kitchen area, the large table in the middle of the room, and a couple couches to the left of it that faced a TV. It was like a tiny apartment.
"Who's he?" I looked over at the woman who spoke. She looked like she was of Hispanic decent and had short blonde hair that was pulled back into a tiny ponytail. She wore a long sleeved athletic shirt and some tight black pants to match. She looked like she could kick your ass.
