Jungkook nodded gratefully and climbed into the backseat. Once inside, Yoongi glanced at him through the rearview mirror. "Have you eaten anything yet, or would you like to grab something on the way?"

Jungkook shook his head as he pouted. "No, hyung. I haven’t eaten. I was too worried about not being able to reach anyone."

Yoongi nodded. "Alright, we will find a place to eat then. I will take us to a good spot."

Jimin, sitting quietly next to the youngest, gave him a small smile, not wanting the atmosphere to be awkward. "It's good to see you, Jungkook. I hope everything is okay."

Jungkook managed a weak smile in return, his cheeks slightly flushing. "Oh, um, thanks... I hope so too."

As Yoongi started the car and began driving, he kept an eye on the road and occasionally glanced at Jungkook through the rearview mirror.

To say the great Min Yoongi was now anxious would be an understatement.

His mind raced with worst case scenarios.

What if something had happened at Jin's mansion?

What if Jun had caused another real harm?

Yoongi knew the burns on Jin's neck that morning was from cigarettes. It had been troubling him since then.

He knew Jin didn't smoke, so those burns couldn't have been accidental.

Yoongi knew, deep down, that Jun was likely behind it. His grip on the steering wheel tightened as he exhaled hard, trying to push his anger aside.

They soon arrived at the restaurant, a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere. Yoongi parked the car and led the two boys inside. They were quickly seated, and the mafia ordered enough food to satisfy the three of them.

While waiting for their food, Yoongi pulled out his phone and dialed his head butler, Lee. "Lee, make sure the maids don't prepare anything for us tonight. I am buying dinner for everyone. Just let them know."

Lee acknowledged the request, and Yoongi hung up, his gaze shifting to the two youngest. Jungkook and Jimin sat awkwardly, their eyes darting in different directions, clearly uncomfortable with each other.

Yoongi couldn't help but chuckle quietly to himself, remembering their last interaction at Jin's mansion.

As the food arrived, they started serving themselves.

Some conversation flowed good as Yoongi tried to keep the boys engaged with a bright mood. Even though both Jimin and Jungkook tried to act normal, their laughter came forced.

They exchanged glances that clearly showed their discomfort, but neither dared to address it directly.

Yoongi observed them with a half-smile. He noted how they made an effort to seem at ease, but the awkwardness between them didn't fade.

Despite his effort to keep the mood light, the tension was still there. He sighed inwardly, hoping that this dinner would help ease the discomfort between them.

After they finished eating, Yoongi called the waiter and placed an order for takeout, making sure to get a generous amount of food for his workers. He paid for the meals and then, with Jungkook and Jimin's help, carried the bags of food out to the car.

He had always made it a point to buy food for everyone in his mansion whenever he ate out, because it was just once in a month, also as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work.
