Chapter 14: Quick to Judge

"Good, but next time try and pay attention to your classmates. Okay over the next few weeks we will be discussing Shakespeare" Mr Cahal said. Zayn passed me a note

"Sorry :(" is what the note said. I wrote Its okay one the piece of paper and passed it back to him. The lesson felt like it was going to go on foreveeeeeeeer. The bell finally went.

"I'm gonna go talk to Jake bye" I said quickly before hurrying down

"What?" Zayn said 

I caught up with Jake

"Hey" I said. He didn't say anything

"Hello" I said waving my hand infront of his face

"Oh you were talking to me?" he asked

"Yes, I wanted to say I really liked your essay thingy" I said

"Thanks" he said. 

"Do you mind if I walk with you to math?" I asked

"Umm" he said looking around, he looked nervous

"I don't bite" I joked

"I know, and sure" he said. We entered the classroom and sat down. He got his books out and started looking around.

"Umm Jake, I need to ask you something" I said, he nodded

"You know your essay thing, did you base it on us as in me and my friends. On how we judged you based on your past" I asked.

"Sorta" he said

"I'm really sorry, we had no right to judge you by your past" I appologised

The teacher came in and it was hell. 1 and a half hours of algebra. The bell finally rung and I grabbed my books and stood up. I was about to leave.

"Izzy" Jake said, I turned towards him.

"Thanks" he smiled

"Do you wanna walk to Music together?" I asked

"No thanks" he said. I shrugged and walked to the music room. I got there and Zayn was there. 

"Hey" I said, he didn't say anything.

"Is this about me talking to Jake?" I asked

"Yes, you know I don't trust him" he said

"But I trust him" I argued. The others came in and we stopped arguing.

"Hey" Katy said

"Hey" I smiled. We sat down and started talking.

"When are you going to find out about the play?" I asked

"Next week" Louis said. Mr.Haymitch came in.

"Okay so usually today we would learn about Mozart or Beethoven. Don't get me wrong they were great composers but who actually listens to their compositions in their free time" he asked. No one put their hand up.

"Exactly, whats the point of learning about them if you've probably learn't about them before. We don't listen to them anymore because society simply doesn't like that genre of music anymore. I will give each group an artist or band from a specific music genre and you will have to list what makes that  artist or band unique and what you like about them" he explained. We were in the groups which we were for the singing thing. 

"Okay, since I am 'Haymitch' from the Hunger games, we will go with the hunger games theme" he said, he pointed at groups and started telling them what districts they were. We were district 9 and the boys were district 4.
