Izzy's P.O.V

I had english first today. I grabbed a muffin from the kitchen and headed out grabbing my bag and books.

"Hey babe" Zayn greeted embracing me in a hug

"Have you been waiting out here for me" I asked as we walked down the corridor

"Yup" he said popping the 'p'. I smiled, I was so lucky to have a boyfriend like him. I started to eat my muffin, I broke off a piece and gave it to Zayn.

"Thanks" he smiled

"No problem. Oh and thanks for helping me with that english assignment yesterday" I thanked. We had to write about something that bothered us in the world. Zayn wrote about racism, I wrote about poverty. We got to class and sat down. I took out my books and my assignment. Mr Cahal came in.

"Good Morning everyone. I hope that you all have done your writing task" he said, everyone nodded

"Okay, I'm going to pick random people to read theirs out. First will be" he said looking around the class

"Jake" he said, everyone turned their head towards him. He stood up and began reading his assignment. (Warning: I did not right this, I found them on a website)

"Quick to judge. It is my belief that, in society today, everyone has the tendency to judge people. These judgments, whether rational or irrational, are, more often than not, based on biases and prior beliefs. These judgments could be right but, is it right to judge people? In a sense, can judging people based on your own perceptions be acceptable? There is the age old proverb: Don’t judge a book by its cover. This idea seems to be very true, because often we make judgments when we first meet a person. As we begin to understand and associate with this person we tend to find our judgment was not exactly correct, and that we misunderstood the true nature of this person. However, what if we stop making our judgments and not following our first instinct? Suppose we do not judge someone as a bad person, and therefore they take advantage of us. So should we try and avoid judging people? But then, that too could become harmful to us in the future." he read. He read it with such passion and anger. It was like he wrote that based on his experience, he must've.

"So fake" Zayn whispered to me

"What? That was definatley not fake Zayn" I said, I was shocked that Zayn would say something like that.

"C'mon you really think he mean't that" he whispered

"YES! He was reading it with such anger" I scream whispered.

"Ehhmm Izzy, would you like to read yours" Mr Cahal said. I stood us and read mine.

"Today we are faced with a problem; it isn’t a new one, but an enduring one. According to the United Nations, poverty in our world is still a very real and distressing problem. Based on their annual report, over 40% of the poorest people in our world live with less than £1.03 a day. One may wonder who exactly these people are, and may think about all those poor people in Africa. You may take pity on them, but may be left puzzled on what exactly you can do to help. But what if poverty was a great deal closer to your home than thought possible? It is an alarming fact that over 40% of the British population is below poverty level. It is very shocking how our so-called modern society, there are hundreds of families living with less than   £6,113.99 a year. People may think that the cause of poverty is laziness. This can be right but it is also wrong. The term poverty may have vastly differing meaning to people from different countries or backgrounds. However, when humans hear poverty, it will mean to them to have lack of enough income and resource to live adequately by community standards or in other words situation of being poor. This does not mean that lazy people are poor because they did not study well or work hard. Some people that are in poverty work hard and they are still poor because they have no fortune with them. Each individual in this world has different causes for being in poverty." I read
