"Now, can the two of you work together now?" the principal asked.
"Alright," Don sighed, before looking at Professor Four hopefully. "Can we make peace and work together?"
"Hmph, fine," the math teacher replied, clearly still not thrilled with the idea, but seeming a bit more open to it now.
The principal nodded in approval. "Good," he said, then walked out of the room.
"Aw, drama's over," Teddy heard a familiar voice say. She turned to see Eve on the opposite side of the back row, her head on her hand as her other arm rested on the desk.
Teddy frowned. Right, with all that happened this period, I almost forgot about Eve. Although she was normally scared around Eve, she found herself feeling annoyed this time, especially as she remembered how Eve had behaved around her and Leah recently. What's with her anyway? Does she just want everything to be chaotic and for everyone to be miserable?

"Eve! Detention for you!" Professor Four screeched, but upon seeing Don's expression, merely rolled his eyes and said, "Okay, fine, no detention for you."
Teddy noticed that Eve smirked at this. However, it seemed she was not the only one who had a reaction, as Stefan soon raised his hand.
"Stefan," Professor Four called.
"Does that mean I don't get detention either?" the redhead asked hopefully.
Professor Four scowled. "Er, fine. But this is your only warning. I won't be so pleasant next time."
"Professor..." Don said.
However, Stefan only shrugged. "I'll take it."
The rest of the class period was strange to Teddy. These past two days, she had already gotten used to Professor Four's strict, punishing nature, so seeing them trying to hold themselves back was strange. It was even more strange having Don in the classroom as a genuinely pleasant authority in the math class. It turned out that while Don might be a bit grumpy and hot-tempered, he was concerned for the well-being of his underclassmen.
Soon, however, the bell rang, signaling the end of the period. As Teddy switched over to her messages app to send Leah a text, she couldn't help but overhear an exchange near the front of the classroom.
"Isa! We gotta go!"
"Wait, Ruby, wha-" Teddy heard Isa start before getting interrupted.
