I head over to sally's lake house and I find her sorting out sea shells.
Sally: (Looks up, her smile widening) Nico! Come in, come in. What brings you here today? Are you and Percy planning another demigod adventure?
Nico: (Hesitates for a moment) No, Mrs. Jackson. It's actually about... us.
Sally: (Sets down the seashells, her smile turning knowing) Ah, us, huh? Is everything alright between you two?
Nico: (Sits down cautiously) We're good, Mrs. Jackson. Really good. That's kind of the thing.
Sally: (Raises an eyebrow playfully) Really good, huh? Well, that's wonderful news. But what's got you looking like you just wrestled a particularly grumpy Cerberus?
Nico: (Blushing) It's just... things have been going really well with Percy. Better than I ever imagined. And, well...
He trails off, unable to meet her eyes. Sally puts down her work entirely, her expression turning gentle.
Sally: (Pats the space beside her) Come on, Nico. Sit with me. Whatever it is, you can tell me.
Nico scoots closer, taking a deep breath.
Nico: Mrs. Jackson, I love Percy. More than words can say. He makes me happy in a way I never thought possible.And... I was wondering about marriage.
Sally's eyes widen slightly, but her smile remains warm.
Sally: (Places a hand on his arm) Marriage? Now that's a big step, Nico. But a wonderful one, if you're both sure.
Nico: (Nods eagerly) I am. Absolutely. I can't picture spending my life with anyone but him.
Sally: (Squeezes his arm) That's beautiful, Nico. I can see how much you care for each other. You both deserve to be happy.
Nico: (Relief washes over him) Thank you, Mrs. Jackson. That means a lot.
Sally: Of course. Now, have you spoken to Percy about this? Marriage is a decision you both need to make together.
Nico: (A flicker of nervousness returns) Not exactly. I wanted to talk to you first. Like getting your blessing, I guess.
Sally smiles, understanding dawning on her face.
Sally: (Chuckles softly) Blessing, huh? Honey, you don't need my blessing to marry someone. But you do need to have an honest conversation with Percy. Tell him how you feel, and see where things go from there.
Nico: (Looks down at his hands) I know. It's just... I was scared. Scared of rejection, I guess. And I don't want to ruin what we have.
Sally: (Squeezes his hand gently) Nico, a true friendship can weather most storms. And if Percy feels the same way you do, this conversation could be the start of something amazing. But honesty is key, even in the closest relationships.
Nico: (Takes a deep breath) You're right. Thank you, Mrs. Jackson. You've been a huge help.
Sally: (Stands up and gives him a hug) That's what moms are for, Nico. Now, how about we bake some blue cookies?Percy will be back soon, and I have a feeling he'd love to hear all about your grand plans.
Nico: (A small smile graces his lips) Maybe I should wait and tell him over cookies then. Blue cookies sound perfect.
Sally: (Beams) There you go! Now, let's get started on those cookies before Percy comes sniffing around for treats. And hey, if you get nervous during your big talk, just remember, I'm always here for you, Nico.
after a long conversation I hear the oven go off because she was baking blue cookies. She offers me one I and I take it willingly. then I leave going to wait for Leo to be done with the ring.
A/N the last 3 chapters of this will be finishing what happens after chapter 5 and them getting ready for the wedding then go read my other fanfic that shows a block in the road of the wedding.
