Falling Over Again

Chapter 1

Have you ever fallen in love? I did...It was the night of the new year festival. I really wanted to leave my house and enjoy the night with my friends and others. I heard many couples fly lanterns writing their wish on it. How silly.

Who knew it would be me next on the line writing my wish on it? As i said before, i really wanted to enjoy the festival that night. I really did. But...The problem was I didn't have the permission of it. I guess that was given since the day i was born in this family as a Royal Minister's daughter.

Despite the fact I'm not allowed to leave specially on a crowded day like that, i still went. I actually escaped home. Silly right? A tantrum was given by the heavens that night. Leaving all of the slightest problems the world put me through, i promised to shrug them off my shoulders as i planned to enjoy the night.

Who knew lectures were not the only thing i had to go through that night ? While eying a very ethereal pearl ring i found, my heart beating in an unusual beat . Is it love?

There was a very tall man standing beside me, my shoulder was having a slight contact with his. My heart kept beating rapidly. Before i could even notice, the man took the ring in his hand and said with his husky voice " I want this" it sounded heavenly!

Realizing i was caught off guard, i cleared my throat and said to the seller man " I had my eyes on them first! And i came first! " The next moment, i find my eyes twitching and my body stiff as i felt the man's piercing gaze on me . It was cold.

I slowly moved my head and looked at the man gazing at me. That was the time! The first time! I realized it was not any regular handsome man! He was the word handsome itself! He looked heavenly with his extreme masculine visuals!

" I ordered it first. " The man blankly said making me break our eye contact. I blushed, i could feel my cheeks burning and the heat bursting with red color! Battling with such an attractive man over a silly necklace would be nothing other than a game of embarrassment.

" Sure then, you win " i said to him as he gives me a low smirk in return. " Giving up so early aren't we? Miss Jung? " I got taken a back. How in the world he knew my name?! I don't remember mentioning it in front of him.

" How do you..." Before i found myself completing my unfinished words he replied " I heard a lot about you from Minister Jung . For your information, i recognized you for your Minister Jung like face features. "

Saying he suddenly came more closer making my heart rate rise to an unusual beat and whispered into my ear " I'm the crown prince , Jake Shim" . That was the night, i ,Jung Siyeon, for the first time fell in love with someone. I ended up flying a lantern with a wish on it hoping one day it will come true.

" I hope Jake Shim falls in love with me "

I jump out on my bed whining like a small child who doesn't want to eat anything. I didn't hate eating, in fact I loved it. So the reason was not unwanted eating but cringing over me who fell over for someone so badly to end up asking her dad to try setting the marriage up. I'm foolishly thinking about myself only.

" Father straightforwardly asked his Majesty?!!! " Soori cups her mouth as she enters my room without her filthy no knocking habit and sits on my bed . I blush and nod at her " Aigoo~ look how cliche you people are because of love ! Aiyoo love sure turns one into a fool huh? By the way!! I heard his majesty agreed ? "
