27. Dinner with parents

Start from the beginning

Rafael sighed, putting his phone away and walked over to me, to cup my face. I hope he can't notice how oily my hair is.. I really need to shower.

"Diosa, I don't want you thinking about this stuff. It's nothing, Leo is just playing games and I'm-" Rafael screwed up his face like he was thinking about shoving a brick up Leo's bum. "I'm going to sort it."

"Okay I won't think about it. I don't doubt that you will sort it, but I couldn't help but notice you're in a suit." I raised my eyebrow, teasingly before I let my hands grab his firm bum. Yeah I can do that whenever I want now.

"That's because Fabio's upgraded him from Hitman to acting underboss until his back from Sicily!" Marco called out. He sounded a tad irritated. "Trying to boss me around and shít." He added.

"Oh, job promotion hey?" I couldn't help but joke but Rafael just narrowed his eyes in a 'Haha you're so funny.' Way. "I'm just kidding, you guys have fun." Rafael pouted when I tried to pull away.

"I need to go have a long hot bath bubble bath." I pouted back. "Because you insisted we go to my parents house when I said we don't have to go."

"I got a few minutes to join that bubble bath." Rafael licked his bottom lip, liking the idea in his head. As much as I liked that idea, I rolled my eyes teasingly at him. "And I need to make a good impression on your parents." He couldn't keep a straight face.

We both laughed.

They already think he's a tattooed trash criminal.

Rafael sighed, bringing my lips desperately to his, that addictive taste on my tongue again.

I pulled back slowly, with a small smile.

Wait.

"Why is Marco taking so long." I frowned; Rafael frowned too and walked to Marcos room to peak a look.

"Dios mio, MARCO! Despierta! WAKE UP!" Rafael yelled, going into Marcos room.

Poor Marco, I don't think he got home till six in the morning.

I let the two be and treated myself to a shower and a bath because I was filthy at the moment.

* * *

"Just do it."

"No no, I can't." I shook my head, hiding behind Rafael; he was so rolling his eyes at me.

"I'll do it then." He sighed, and before I could say something and run down away, he did the doorbell. And it begins, the button that will begin the night of horror.

I'm so not overacting..

Rafael was still wearing his black suit, but without the skinny tie, he took it off and opened the top few buttons of his dress shirt.

I was wearing a grey high waisted Maxi skirt and a peachy pink crop top, but to cover the bit of skin on my stomach that was showing, I put a gold belt. And of course, my gold bohemian looking sandals. I was dreading winter again, which sucked because Chicago is friggin' freezing in winter.

Rafael pulled me to his side, just when the door opened and revealed my mother, and my father standing behind her.

"We're so happy you could join us." My mother smiled dearly at me, was she just good at holding a fake smile or was I imagining it?

"Yes, come in." My father added,

Just when they were about to let us in, and Rafael was about to take a step towards the door, I put my hand out.

"Wait, one question." I said, taking a cautioned look behind me, maybe I can still run? "You're not planning on having Leo show up are you? Or maybe he's already inside?"
