This is it. Today's the semi-finals. I can't believe it. Time just flies so fast. But i'm actually happy it's almost over. I can finally avoid Karlos completely.

I've been ignoring him for days now, and he's been trying to talk to me for days too. I don't know when I could talk to him, but it hurts seeing the two of them. But i'm pretty sure i'd be telling him how I feel soon.

"Alexa? Are you okay?" Coach Bamboo asked which made me regain my focus.

"Yes coach, i'm okay." I plastered on a smile and did a thumbs up.

"Parang napapansin ko kasi you've been pretty off lately. Same goes for JK, what's happening?" He asks curiously. "Nag-aaway ba kayo huh?"

"No coach. Everything's okay." I said again.

"Parehas lang kayo ng sinasabi ni JK eh." He chuckled. "You sure? Maybe I could help para you guys could concentrate."

"No no. Everything's okay po." I said again, reassuring him. He just nodded his head. I could see that he doesn't look convinced, but at least he dropped the topic off.

"Later we're going to have stage rehearsals with everyone ah." He said. "Sige break ka na muna."

Since the rehearsals and practices is just in Resorts World, I went down to get some food.

On the way, I passed by Stacy. I smiled at her and then left. But then she tapped my shoulder.

"Alexa?"

"Hmm?" I turned around.

"There's something wrong."

"What is it?" I asked.

"You know what it is, stop playing dumb Alexa." She said worriedly.

"But I don't know what's wrong." I said. I actually do.

She sighs. "Why are you not talking to Karlos?"

"I-" She cut me off.

"Is it because of me?"

"No, Stacy it's not."

"Please Alexa, I need to know."

"Know what?"

"Do you like him?" She asks.

"W-what?" And I was not expecting that? Should I tell her? No, I shouldn't. I might just break a great relationship.

"Tell me." She pleaded.

I cleared my throat. "No Stacy, I don't like him. He's my best friend." Lies, lies.

"Then why are you not talking to him?"

"Because."

"Because what? Pls tell me. I know there's something wrong. I could break up with him if you wanted me to-"

"No Stacy. No. Don't do that." I said. Would she really do that?

She sighs. "Okay, just please, promise me you'll talk to Karlos." She said, more like a command.

"Uhh..."

"Alexa."

I nodded my head, sighing in defeat. "Okay."

She hugged me tight and I hugged back. "Thank you. This will make him happy, since he seems pretty down lately." She said and I smiled. "I want him to do his best in the semi's, so cheer him up, okay? I tried cheering him up but it won't work."
