"Mom!" I sing, tripping down the stairs. "Kellin!" She sings back, smiling at me as I fix my red beanie. "How are you?" I twirl slightly, plopping down into the seat next to her. "Im doing great how are you?" She smiles, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "I'm doing fabulous!" Oliver, our fat little dog, barrels into the room.

His pudgy little legs slide against the floor as he slides on his belly under the table. He just lays on the floor, obviously tired from running five feet.

She pushes a plate to me, looking back at her phone as it dings with a new message. "I'm going to be at work late tonight, Tay can come over if she wants to because I won't be back till like one." She states. I nod, taking a bite of the eggs.

"Wait, did you make your bacon separately?" I ask cautiously. She nods. "I know what to do now. I wouldn't sabotage you into anything." She smiles.

I'm vegetarian and I feel bad for my mom. She has to buy all the food and make sure that I actually have something to eat. When we have family dinner (which usually just consists of her and myself) she makes sure that the main dish is meat free, which is really sweet. I especially like her meatless spaghetti, it's the best.

"Alright Kells, I gotta head to work. Don't be late for school." She smiles kissing my forehead before heading towards the door. "Bye mom! Have a good day!" I call, finishing my eggs and rinsing my plate off.

I watch as her car pulls out of the driveway before grabbing my books. The digital clock on the stove reads 7:15 AM in red, digitally print. The bus comes around 7:20 AM but I usually don't take it.

But today I was feeling lazy so I head out the door, walking to the bus stop at the corner of my street. Before I leave I press a kiss to Oliver's head, scratching in between his ears.

He lets out a small bark as I leave, his tongue hanging out of his mouth. "Bye Oliver!" I smile, waving at him. He barks again and I walk towards the bus stop.

Two people stand next to me at the bus stop, one of them on their phone and the other one shooting glances at me every other second.

The bus pulls up and I hop on quickly, moving towards an empty seat in the middle row.

"Kellin! Come sit by us!" A voice proclaims. I look over and see Jaime, Tony, Mike, and (oh sweet baby Jesus have mercy on my soul) Vic. My face goes pink and I cautiously walk towards them, watching for anyone's feet 'accidentally' sticking out in the isle.

I make it without tripping and sit down next to Jaime who is patting the kinda empty seat next to him. Mike and Tony are sharing a seat and Him and Vic were until Jaime shoved Vic against the window and let me sit next to him.

"I swear to God, Tony." Mike huffs, crossing his arms. "Come on Mike! You know that Luke is way better than Harry!" Tony exclaims.

I notice that they talk to each other differently then they talk to other people. "Hey Mike, Tony. How're you guys doing?" I question, testing the waters.

"I'm doing great!" Tony smiles. "Same, how're you?" Mike says. "I'm doing good." Then they started bickering again.

"You had to at least think it was an okay movie!"

"I guess it was okay but Harry is so much better!"

They put more emphasis on words while talking to each other. While talking to other people they talked normal. They seem more... Passionate.

It's cute.

"Okay guys, they were both super amazing movie series so please will you shut up!" Jaime exclaims. "You're acting like an... An old married couple"
