Chapter 6-You dont wanna know

Kaitlyns POV

"What's your favourite colour" he asks, his hand firmly placed at the bottom of my back. I think for a moment before turning to him

"Probably...green" I replie, fiddling with my fingers

"Just like your eyes" he smiles, gazing into them intently, I blush and walk faster. We were on our way back to the school, it's been about ten minutes since the kiss and I can't take away the smile on my face

We walk out the forest line and start making our way through the car park. I feel his hand sneakily wrap into mine and I bite my lip

"Just one more thing....why did you move here? Not that I'm complaining, it's just that not everyday a person moves into a town like this" he grins and I take in a sharp intake of breathe

"I-" I cut my self short and pull away from him

"I don't wanna speak about it" I say softly, a metallic taste invades my mouth. And I realise I was biting my lip hard. A thumb wipes across my bottom lip and I look away

"It's alright, we don't have to talk about it" he pulls me into a hug and I start to blink furiously, not letting the tears come out

This was ridiculous, I've only met him today and I was already letting him in.

"I'm sorry" I apologise, chuckling sadly. He shakes his head and leans down once again and captures my lips.

"I've only just met you and we're already like this" I mumble into his lips and he pulls away laughing softly

"Lets get to class" he grabs my hand and starts to pull me, I dig my heels into the ground and cross my arms

"How do you know what class I have?" I narrow my eyes at him

"Natalie told me" he smiles innocently, I roll my eyes and start to walk off.

"Don't walk away from me" I hear him growl playfully behind me and I start to walk faster. He tackles me softly and wraps his arms around my waist

"I warned you" he nibbles on my ear and I lean into the touch.

"Derrick" I warn him and pull away, "we need to get to class, it's my first day here and I shouldn't be missing any of them" I mumble and pull away from him and knock on my door

I let myself in and nor before poke my tongue out at Derrick before closing the door. Everyone in the class was staring at me with wide grins...what the fuck?

"Kaitlyn! Why were you late" the teacher demands and I my mind goes blank

"Kaitlyn!" He snaps at me again

"Sorry, u-um..."

"Mr.Selby she was at the office with me" Natalie walks in, as if in que. I let out a sigh of relief and she links arms with me.

"So you and Derrick" she playfully pokes my side as we sit down, I move away from her and slap her arm

"Shut up" I grumble, the rest of the class was a complete bore. Natalie was poking me half the class and the teaching yelling in other half.

"At last" Natalie cries dramatically and falls to the floor as soon as we step out the door

"Natalie" I laugh, picking her up off the floor.

"We're finally free" she jumps out my arms and I stumble back, tripping over my feet. I wait for the harsh impact of the floor but it doesn't come.
