Infinity: Fall In Love With Me (Infinity Fanfiction)

Prologue

Hi all! Here's a very short prologue to introduce my new fanfic Infinity: Fall In Love With Me taken from the miniseries Infinity available to watch on YouTube at BuildYourLoveForYou. The short series takes place in an alternative virtual game universe and is quite interesting with a compelling plot and in-depth characters even though it's short. If you haven't watch the series, please do. You will have a much better understanding of what's going on in this fic.

"Is everything going as planned?" I ask as I enter the dark monitor room.

"Yes, President. Everything is going the way you wanted it." Yuan, the acting CEO of my company, Infinity, replies as he jumps out of his seat to greet me properly with a bow. "We are ready for you to enter the game whenever you are."

I give him a nod and stare at the many screens on the wall that portray the virtual realm I created. I search all the screens before my eyes land on him, Jake. The corner of my lips lift as he dances adorably in a kitty costume. Even in the virtual world, he's just as adorable and pretty as in reality.

I take my eyes off the screen and stroll over to a huge glass panel window on the side of the room and peer through it. There, the real Jake lies in a bed right next to his coworker and best friend, La Qi, in another bed.

It took me so long, but Jake is finally right in front of me. Defenseless and at my very mercy. Not that he wasn't defenseless before. Back in high school, he couldn't run from me either. Until he did.

He outright quit school and disappeared on me. I've never gotten over him since and my obsession for him only grew these past years as he haunted my memories and dreams. But I've got him now.

Lucky for me, he unknowingly applied to work for my company. Once I found out he was an applicant, I had HR recruited him right away, offering him a sweet deal he couldn't resist. He would be the first to develop a game for the virtual realm along with a handsome salary. What he and his friend didn't know was, that I'm the one behind the virtual realm and had altered the system so there's no escaping the realm unless I say so. He also doesn't know I'm the president of the company as I have Yuan act as CEO in my stead.

"Yuan..."

"Yes President?"

"Leave for a moment, would you?" I turn to look at him.

"Yes sir." Yuan leaves the room along with the two other technicians here to make sure the system runs smoothly.

I walk over to the door that separates Jake from me. Using my thumbprint, I unlock the door before entering. I make my way over to the full-size bed Jake is laying on with a VR headset on.

I sit on the bed next to him and stare at his beautiful face. From the moment I laid my eyes on him those many years ago, my heartbeat accelerated, and my palms sweated and it continued to do so every time he was near me. I was very intrigued and pissed off at the same time because he made me feel things I'm not used to especially for a man. It was only then that I discovered that I liked men. Specifically, him.

My initial plan was always just to admire his beauty from afar, that was until I saw him kiss another boy from school and my blood ran cold. That's when the bullying started. Since everyone was afraid of me and my parents' wealth, no one dared speak or helped anyone I chose to pick on, not even the teachers. And just like that, Jake became an outcast, no one to befriend or kiss ever again in front of me.

It's obvious to me now that was the wrong move on my part since he ended up running away from me. Which is why this time, I'll play the hero instead and enter the game to save him. He's changed plenty since our separation. He's still as gorgeous as ever but more confident now and my little kitten even learned how to fight.

I smirk as I run the back of my hand down the side of his face. "Thought you can protect yourself now?"

I lower myself to him, stopping right before his lips. "There's a reason the space on the bed next to you is empty. Just wait for me Jake and this infinite loop will end, eventually."

By now, Jake and La Qi should know they are stuck in an endless loop. But try as much as they can, they won't be able to escape, not until...

"All you have to do to escape that world is..."

I place a small kiss on his soft warm lips, once, twice. I cannot wait until he kisses me himself.

"All you have to do is fall in love with me, Jake." I whisper and seal our lips once more.

A/N: This fic won't be a dark fic but may feature some dark themes at times and definitely still for an 18+ audience only. I love the smut hahaha lol. I hope you enjoy this short chapter. Chapter one will be ready and posted soon!
