"Lilly wake up." A kind feminine voice said from the other side of the door. Her blue eyes slowly opened, the sun danced into the room and on the walls. She moved out of bed, her small feet patting on the wooden floor, she opened the door peeking out into the hallway. Her mother was folding laundry putting it into the different rooms, Lilly ran to her mother and hugged her hips. "How is my beautiful summer flower?"

"I'm good." Her youthful voice making her mother smile.

"Today your dad, you and I are going on a road trip to your favorite place." She gave her a toothy smile and her mom hugged her back. After lunch the family went on the trip, driving on the road, cars passed by. Her mother turned around and smiled. "Are you alright my water lily?" she asked stroking her black hair, her father driving turned around, suddenly without warning, the car lurched and she was thrown forward violently, the seat belt biting into her chest and knocking the wind out of her. The sound of raining glass echoed in her ears. But that was just a memory.
