Death of a Loved One

"Minerva- It's Molly! I'm sorry, I need to go." And with out a second glance, I orbed towards their voices. Their voices weren't coming from the Burrow, where I thought they would be coming from. They were coming from.. up.

I orbed high up into sky and was surprised to find myself in the Ministry of Magic for the dead. I heard a ding! and turned around. Standing in the oh-so-familiar elevator was Molly and Arthur.

"Oh Madeline! Thank goodness your here! What happened?" Molly cried whilst walking over to me. I didn't reply but threw my arms around her. "I can actaully hug you back Maddie-"

"I'm sorry Molly. I'm so, so sorry!" I cried. Tears rolled down my cheeks and she hugged me tight.

"What is it dear? What's wrong?" She asked shakily. I retreated from the hug and put both of my hands on her shoulder.

"Molly.. you just died." I cried. She let out a gasp and hugged her husband tightly. "Come here you two." I said calmly. They both threw there arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"This is horrible." Molly sobbed. I gave her a sympathetic smile.

"Come on.. You guys need to get registered." I ushered them to the first table and went through the somewhat familiar process. Once we finished with the last table, we were at the three doors.

"We just go through? That's it?" Arthur said disbelievingly.

"Yup. If you see through the Heaven door, Lupin, Tonks, Snape, Dumbledore, Lily and James are waiting for you." They turned towards the door and sure enough, all of them were smiling at us, waving hello with their hands. "You just need to walk in." I said shakily.

"Is this goodbye?" Arthur asked. I nodded my head and Molly cried harder. "Madeline," Arthur started. "I'm really glad my son met you. You really did change his life. Heck, you changed ours too."

"Thank you Arthur. I also want to thank you for introducing me to the Wizarding World."

"You truly are wonderful Maddie." Molly commented. I smiled at them both and sighed.

"Is there anything, anything you want me to tell your kids?" I asked. "In fact, why don't you write them letters right know, I'll deliver them." Molly and Arthur nodded and started writing letters. It was awfully sad, but nothing can stop death. Maybe an hour later, then finished and gave me one last hug. "Tell everyone I miss them." I asked while stuffing the letters in my robe.

"Goodbye Madeline!" They said together, before walking through the door. They made their way up to the crowd that was waiting patiently for them and I watched them enviously.

"It'll be sooner than you think." Someone commented. I looked up and standing on the other side of the doorway was Lupin.

"Remus, it's been a while, hasn't it?" I smiled. He nodded his head and smiled.

"Sure has Maddie. Arabella's beautiful, so much like Fred and you." He paused and looked at me. "I just wish I could walk out of here and hug you."

"Same goes here, but if I walk through that door than I kill Fred." I commented. He gaped at me and I gave him a crooked grin. We talked for a while longer before I had to go. "I'm sorry to leave you Remus, but I have classes to attend to still. I already missed one."

"Classes? Oh that's right, you teach Defense Against the Dark Arts." I nodded and swayed a little. "But shouldn't you start planning a funeral?"

"Yea.. I guess I should get on that.. I mean- Wait." I paused. "Earlier you said 'It'll be sooner than you think.' What on earth did you mean?"

He scratched his head and sighed. "Well, if everything goes right, than unfortunately, your husband will die soon." My eyes widened in horror.

"O-Ok.. I'll see you later Lupin." And with that, I orbed back into my classroom. McGonagall was there with Fifth years. "Oh, I'm sorry Professor." I said to McGonagall.

"Thank heavens your back! Is everything alright?" She asked.

"Molly and Arthur..." I leaned closer to her and whispered into her ear. "..passed on.." She let out a gasp and I wiped cold tears from my eyes. "I need to tell the others... can I take Arabella?" I whispered. She nodded and turned to the class and continued teaching. I orbed around the castle, searching for Toby and Arabella and found them in the library.

"Hold on." I said sternly. I grabbed them both and orbed all the way to the house, where I dropped them off and orbed to the Burrow. In the master bedroom layed Molly and Arthur, still, lifeless, dead. I covered them with sheets and sent a patronus to all the Weasley's and Harry.

Back at our house, Arabella and Toby were sitting in front of the fireplace. "Bella sweetie, can I talk to you and Toby?" She nodded and looked up at me with Toby while I sat on the couch. "Umm.. I'm going to tell you this now so you'll be prepared-"

"Are you ok mum?" Arabella asked. I quickly wiped away a tear and let out a sigh.

"Bella, Toby.. Grandma and Grandpa didn't wake to see this day." Toby turned a bright white as realization hit him, and then he started crying.

"I don't understand-" Arabella started. Toby cut her off and gave her a hug.

"Grandma and Grandpa died Bells!" Toby cried. Arabella let out a strangled cry and hid her face in a pillow.

"Maddie! Maddie! What's wrong-" Fred and George came stumbling in.

"I'm sorry Fred, George. It was your mum and dad. They- They-" I couldn't stand the looks on their faces. It was full of sadness and contorted with guilt. Within seconds, they were both bawling. I handed them both letters that there mum and dad left them and was heartbroken when they cried harder. When the rest of the Weasley's arrived.. it was just too sad for me to watch.

That night I sat on my rooftop, thinking about everything that has happened.

1.)Arabella gets to do a project on my mum.

2.)Professor Clevely is a pshyco.

3.) Molly and Arthur died.

4.)Lupin tells me that Fred is going to die soon.

.....This has been such a horrible month.. "Why me! Why us! WHY!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. That night, I stayed there on the rooftop. That night, I cried vigorously. That night, I didn't notice the set of red-heads listening to me from a window just below.
