Is It Wrong to Try and Create a Family in a Dungeon City?

Chapter 9: Shop's First Steps in Marketing and Dungeon Diving

"Half!? That's robbery!"

"Do you want your kids to barely come home alive and looking like skeletons and risk dying to the Floor Boss on the 17th Floor and the mazes in that area?" Hera said with her eyebrow raised as she let out a grunt noise.

"Be reasonable here Loki. The half part of the payment is just rough estimation. We can get the details and count how much you would owe us later on. But if you really want our services, then we need the time and supplies needed to be ready and carried out by our children and Bell in the dungeon."

"Not to mention the fact that we also have to report this to the Guild and Oranous so we aren't in deep shit. We're gonna need to be escorted by some of Ganesha's kids or Astreas if they're even available." Zeus said as he took another drink from the bottle. Watching as Loki sighed and stood up from her seat, bowing her head to Hera.

"I promise, you'll get every Valis worth. And I'll help smooth things out with Oranous as soon as his Guild is open next morning. But for now, I'll leave you two to get a list and whatever you might need to get everything ready." Loki said as Hermes stood up and tipped his hat to them.

"I'll inform Falgar the news and send him off back to the Dungeon. Likely he'll stop briefly at some merchants' homes to barter and beg for some small supplies of food for them to bring back. So there's a chance they'll be better rested and fed till your Familia arrives. Good luck to you." Hermes said as he and Loki left the small shop and eatery in silence. Leaving Hera and Zeus to look at one another.

"You're actually going through with this?"

"Even I have to admit a pervert like you can have their moments where you're the rational one between us. Though...we're going to have to visit Hephaestus for a rush order on something to preserve the meals. And then the to-go boxes we'll need for them as well." Hera muttered as Zeus stood up and rolled his shoulders.

"I'll handle things with Hephaestus and get Hermes's help with that sort. Just stick to informing the others tomorrow and get some of them to work in the kitchen. While having the others set off to get supplies from Miach and a means to carry it all down to the Dungeon."

"I should also have them go out and see if they'll need to be better equipped for the Dungeon after so many years away from it. And for them to help get Bell some armor-"

"Please tell me you're not going to get the boy a full set of armor too heavy for him to even walk." Zeus said, as he was met with silence from his wife. Having the decency to blush and look away from him.

"I'll have Olberic take Bell to get him some good armor he can move in and to get any equipment the others need. You get Cyrus, Ophilia and Frieren to help with the food. Anna and Primrose can help with gathering the medical supplies. Good night Hera." Zeus said with tiredness in his voice as Hera pointed and followed him upstairs to their rooms.

The following morning, Hera and Zeus did as they planned and informed their members of what was happening. Many were somewhat excited about returning back into the Dungeon. Even if it was just for a simple errand and only for a short time. Bell however, was ecstatic about seeing it for the first time.

He had to be held in the air as his arms and legs moved around excitedly by Olberic as he left with the boy to get fitted for armor and some clothes for the trip. Along with being advised to ignore Hera if she deems Bell's new armor and clothes "not worthy or strong enough". The old warrior nodded and took the current sound advice coming from his God, even if Zeus was punched in the face.

Hera practically shoved Primrose and Anna out the door as she instructed them to get the needed materials and medical items from Miach. As well as a long list of food and ingredients for them to bring back. All while she dragged Frieren into the back kitchen with Cyrus and Ophilia already getting the necessary kitchenware ready.
