After I plugged in my phone, I changed into my yellow polka-dotted pj's, combed my hair, brushed my teeth and went to bed. I had a dreamless night, which was unusual. In the morning, mom gave me bacon, eggs ad hash browns for breakfast. "Mmm. This is good!" I tried to tell her through a mouthful of food. Mom looked to the floor, then to me. "Guess what today is!" She said slowly. I was confused. Mom probably saw I was puzzled. She moved her hands in a circle motion. She sighed, getting that I didn't have a clue. "Family reunion!" "Nooo!" I tried to yell. "I know you don't like your cousin, but what's so bad about her?" Mom asked. "She's greedy." I said flatly and streched out the word greedy. "She's not greedy." Mom sighed. "She is! Witney took my favourite teddy bear when I was three and broke it," I looked mom in the eye when I said it, "she broke my Xbox and never apologized, and you didn't sue her or her mom!" "We got a new one didn't we?" Mom pointed to my the family Playstation 3." I sighed. "This not an Xbox. If she wasn't in the family, I wouldn't be complaining like this." Mom looked tooken aback. "Don't talk like that! That's mean!" I pulled back. I realized what I had said. Mom walked away. "Very disappointed Skylar." She called over her shoulder. I let my head fall and some bacon bits fell out of my mouth. Dad walked through the door and picked some bacon from the bacon bowl. He patted my head, not realizing I was sad. (Well he was reading his favourite book, a newspaper.) He walked to the bathroom, guessing he'll sit on the toilet seat, reading the articles and advertisements. I walked to my room and sat my bed. I saw dad walk to his and mom's room. Probably getting ready for leaving to Edmonton. (It'll probably be 2 hours.) I should pack too. I pulled out my pink luggage from under my bed. I unzipped it, and grabbed my pj's, three types of clothes, socks, toothbrush and toothpaste and one of my stuffed animals. I sat back. "Well Skylar, let's get your phone." I walked to the plug-in and unplugged my phone and put it in my jean pocket. "Alright, let's go." I heard dad say to mom.
