RAPHAEL'S POINT OF VIEW

“As I told you earlier, I am different from others. Don't mess with me or you will regret it in a heavy measure.” Iris warned sternly, her threats were real but empty to me.

“I want to mess with you nevertheless and suffer the consequences later but allow me to love you and hold you in my arms first.” I pleaded but I did not plead actually.

“No, I am not interested.” Iris keeps showing her real side revealing how uninterested she was but I have to make her interested.

“You are interested if not you won't be having a conversation with me,” I told her with a grin clearly showing on my face.

“Simply because I decided to give you a moment to talk with me doesn't guarantee that you can insult me in that manner,” she scolded pointing her finger at me.

I slowly brought down the finger staring into her beautiful and mesmerizing dark eyeballs.

“There is nothing wrong with what I said earlier. And insults? I never did.” She's too much to bear. I have to be on top of this game.

“You are denying what you said,” she observed. She's a game player herself but I am the game changer. A new twist comes in any story I enter.

“Who's denying? That's not a habit of mine. I appear to be truthful in and out. I get it, you may have been together with some men who might have broken your heart, those who messed with you, those you yearned for but that phase of your life has ended. I will be here for you.” I stared into her eyes as I delivered my powerful, intoxicating, and perspective-changing dialogues.

I can see her eyes glistening and imagine her heart melting. It's working!

Iris continued to smile and stare at me as she digested my words. That's my magic! Once I cast my evil eye on you, you cannot escape it.

They are lusciously made for this work. She is fully mesmerized by the handsome dark hunk in front of her by now.

“I will take care of you. Just give me a chance, baby girl. You will be shocked by my actions and the unrequited… I mean affectionate love I have for you,” I beamed in a soft captivating voice to make it look real.

In a twinkle of an eye, it was just as if my spell broke off when she pushed me off, I barely managed not to reach the floor. “Why do that?” I grunted, my voice now very serious and manly.

“You have shown your true colors finally. Stop your sweet-talking. I am not easily convinced about a person's personality. Leave me or you will regret it,” she warned. Her gaze suddenly appeared to be something I hadn't seen before. It was dark and villainous.

An austere expression showed up on my face immediately but I am this game’s master planner. I have to find another way fast.

“Why am I not good or presentable enough for you?” I asked. “You are presentable and good but we are not compatible and you aren't my choice of man.” A bag of hurtful words just descended on me, no one had ever refused me in that manner.

Iris shouldn't be doing this. I will make sure she pays every price for what she has done today. I will make sure her world comes scrambling down. One, just one of us has to be in control. I will make her go on her knees. She will cry, beg, and plead for mercy.

Now, I want her at all costs. I will prove to her that I am her choice and then punish her. How dare she talk to me like that?

“Then what is your choice?” I asked calmly.

“I already have my man. I love him and I can't love anyone else. He is my life, my lifeline. I breathe only for him.” Iris chimed. It sounded just like a poem in my ears.
