Beomgyu left and Yeonjun stared at the front door he just left out of.

Beomgyu soon got to work and went to their meeting. A meeting he felt like could've been sent in an email but he didn't make the rules of course.

On his way out he ran into someone and dropped some papers.

"Oh I'm sorry." He looked up and it was Taehyun. He seemed to freeze up as Taehyun bent down and picked the papers up for him.

"Good morning Beomgyu."

They hadn't spoken since Taehyun confessed and tried to kiss him. It was awkward to say the least.

Beomgyu had honestly forgotten about it and seeing him now, everything seemed to flood back to that day.

"I love you Beomgyu." Taehyun said as they stood outside together on the sidewalk.

Beomgyu's heart sank.

"I'm...married Taehyun I'm sorry."

"But you want a divorce. I know you like me too this could work. I could be way better to you than Yeonjun."

Beomgyu didn't know what to say. "I...Taehyun I'm sorry-"

"I don't get it!" He yelled. "I'm always here when he's not. You spend way more time with me. I know you have to feel something for me! Don't you?"

Beomgyu didn't say anything as he just stared at him. Lips parted and eyes full of shock yet sadness because he knew he was to blame for this.

"I knew how you felt about me and it was wrong for me to hang out with you so much. If I did something to make you think that what we have could be anything more than I'm so sorry."

"So that's it?" He asked. "You're still going to try and be with him."

"Yes."

"But why? He doesn't even trust you enough to talk to you. You two don't spend time together and he's only doing any of this because you're trying to divorce him!" He yelled as he stepped closer.

"Taehyun you're scaring me-"

"I love you! Not him! He could never treat you the way I would. I wouldn't let a day go by without you knowing how much I love you, I would be your shoulder to cry on I wouldn't let you cry to a coworker or alone. So why do you keep trying for someone who doesn't deserve it?"

"...Taehyun I love him."

Taehyun didn't say anything as they stared at each other in a heavy silence. After a few moments Beomgyu started to try and walk away but Taehyun grabbed his arm pulling him back to him. And when Beomgyu saw his face inching closer to his he slapped him without a second thought.

As soon as he did he covered his mouth muffling a small gasp. Shocked by his own actions.

"I'm sorry." And then he practically ran from him. Leaving Taehyun there with a burning cheek and a shattered heart.

"I need to talk to you."

Beomgyu shook his head. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"I won't try anything I swear." His eyebrows furrowed and he looked desperate. "Have lunch with me today? I just need to talk to you."

Beomgyu didn't know what to say but he decided to go along with it. Whatever he wanted to say seemed important.

"Okay, just lunch."

Taehyun smiled and Beomgyu forgot how nice his smile was. The longer he looked at him the more noticeable the dark circles under his eyes were and he seemed thin.

"Thank you."

Beomgyu went back to his desk and rubbed his head. When lunch came around and they were about to leave, Beomgyu tried to call Yeonjun. He thought it would be better to explain everything on the phone instead of texting but he didn't answer.

So when he didn't he texted him that he was having lunch with Taehyun and he would explain everything at home.

"Mom." Yeonjun said as he bowed to her. "It's good to see you."

"You look thin." She said as she hugged him.

"I workout to keep the fat off. Beomgyu feeds me all the time."

"Beomgyu..." he voice faded and then she smiled. "Let's head to lunch."

Yeonjun had a bad feeling.
