In the warm embrace of their family home, Natasha Romanoff sat on the couch, her attention divided between a book in her hands and her partner, Wanda Maximoff, who was curled up under a blanket, her face drawn with fatigue. Their daughter, Maya, played nearby with her toys, her laughter filling the room with joy.

As Natasha glanced up from her book, she noticed Maya casting worried glances in Wanda's direction. Sensing her daughter's concern, Natasha set her book aside and made her way over to Maya.

"Hey, sweetheart, is everything okay?" Natasha asked, her voice gentle as she knelt down beside Maya.

Maya looked up at Natasha, her brow furrowed with worry. "Mama doesn't look well," she said softly, her voice tinged with concern.

Natasha smiled reassuringly, her heart swelling with love for her thoughtful daughter. "Mama's just feeling a little tired, Maya," she explained, her voice calm and soothing. "But don't worry, she'll be okay."

But Maya's concern persisted, her gaze flickering back to Wanda. "Are you sure, Mommy?" she asked, her voice uncertain.

Natasha nodded, her hand reaching out to gently ruffle Maya's hair. "I'm sure, sweetheart," she affirmed. She glanced at Wanda, silently asking her if she could inform their daughter. Wanda gave her a slight nod of permission and snuggled under the blanket further. "Mama's not just tired - she's growing a baby."

Maya's eyes widened in surprise, her face lighting up with wonder. "A baby?" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.

Natasha nodded, a warm smile gracing her lips as she watched Maya's reaction. "That's right, Maya," she confirmed. "You're going to have a little brother or sister."

Maya's face lit up with joy at the news, her worries forgotten as she hugged Natasha tightly. "I'm going to be a big sister!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with delight.

Natasha returned the hug, her heart overflowing with love for her precious daughter. "You are, sweetheart," she agreed, her voice filled with warmth. "And you're going to be the best big sister ever." As Maya's laughter filled the room once more, she climbed on top of Wanda to give her a hug too. "Careful, Mama doesn't feel well," Natasha warned gently.

"Sorry, Mama," Maya apologised, instantly feeling guilty as she cuddled into her mother.

Wanda offered her the warmest smile she could muster at that moment. "It's okay, sweetheart." Wanda yawned and started to doze off with her daughter in her arms.

Natasha observed their interaction with unconditional love and contentment, her heart swelling as she watched over the people she loved most. She plodded over to her expanding family and sat down next to Wanda, picking her feet up and placing them on her lap. She softly pressed her feet, relieving some of Wanda's discomfort.
