Someone: Why do you like novels so much?
Me: I’m drawn to the artful dance of words, how authors paint emotions and weave realities with the elegance of their prose.
Me in my mind: Also....
In books, I blend with a crowd unseen,
Away from judgments, my spirit's serene.
I laugh, I weep, I shout with delight or plight,
In the sanctuary of story, my soul feels light. In the pages of novels, I discover the words I seek,
To mend my wounds, to stir my soul, to make my spirit feel at peak.
In a world of harsh judgments and burdens, where my heart holds fear,
They weave tales of love and care, elusive in real life's sphere.Among the lines, I find the warmth that I yearn to know,
In the embrace of stories, where true solace does flow.
They offer love I long for, like a gentle, guiding light,
In the turmoil of existence, they make my world seem right. If you wanna know the true me, then be a character in a novel.
