I'm starting to feel like I can start to feel my body when max starts groaning from the floor. I look up at Jessie "I need to get out of here." Jessie doesn't take a beat and pulls me up from the floor and wraps his leather jacket around me and pulls me through the house. The nice part about going to a small house party is there's not enough people to actually notice something going on. He's able to get us outside without anyone noticing us. When the cold air finally hits me it makes me want to puke. Jessie pulls me forward towards his truck and opens the passenger door and lets me get in. He closes the door behind me and runs over to the other side and hops into the drivers seat.

He starts the car and turns to me "is there anywhere you want to go?"

I look back over at the house and see a figure by the door. Jessie really did a number on Max. Even though we're far away I can tell that his face is all swollen and more than likely going to bruise. Without looking at Jessie "honestly I don't care but please let it be anyone but here."

He starts pulling the truck away from the house "I can do that."

"Noooo I just want a coffee." Once we left Luke's house Jessie insisted that we go get something to eat, even after I said I wasn't hungry. We soon pulled into the McDonalds drive thru and we were trying to place an order.

"Cher you need to eat something? What about a cheeseburger?" Jessie is almost begging me to pick something.

I cross my arms over my chest "I don't really eat red meat."

Jessie stares at me blankly and turns back to the speaker "yeah can I get a McDouble meal with a coffee and a jr chicken please." The person gives him the total and Jessie pulls forward to the window. Jessie pays for the food and the young employee gives him the food and he nearly throws the bag at me. Once he gets the coffee he pull through and parks in a parking spot. I reach forward to grab the coffee but Jessie pulls away "ah ah you can get this." He holds up the coffee "when you eat the jr chicken. At least half."

I roll my eyes and dig through the bag until I find the burger. Unwrapping the burger I take a big bite and look at him "happy?"

Jessie smiles at me "very." He grabs the bag from my lap and pulls out his and starts to eat. We both eat in silence, once we finish Jessie hands over the coffee. Even though it isn't the best, I enjoy it. "So are we going to talk about this? And unlike the other thing I'm not going to let this blow over."

"Please you didn't let the other thing 'blow over' I tried to move past it and you yelled at me at the café." Does he really think that's letting things blow over. If he does then he's delusional.

"Cher we should tell your aunt and uncle."

I pull down the sun visor and open the mirror my mascara was smudged. I lick my finger and start rubbing under my eyes "no. It doesn't matter."

Jessie reaches over and slams it shut, I look at him and he looks furious "no it does matter Cher! You can't be serious! If I wasn't there who knows what would have happened." He clenches his fist making his knuckles go white.

I reach over and place my hand over his "Jessie you were there and I can't thank you enough. I don't. I don't know what I have would have done without you. But you can't tell anyone. I just want this night to be over."

Jessie crosses his arms over his chest "then I should have kicked his ass harder."

I laugh a little "I'm pretty sure you handled him enough. But I do need a favour from you."

He looks at me "anything"

I look down at my lap "I can't get the feeling of his hands all over me. I need you to touch me to get the feeling of him touching me out of my head."

His eyes go wide slightly "Cher baby, I don't know if that's a good idea."

"If you don't want too you don't have too but I can't have him be the last person to touch me." I look at him with pleading eyes.

Jessie looks at me and turns on the car and starts driving. He focuses on the road ahead of them "okay but I'm not fucken you in my truck so we're going to my place."

We drive deeper into town until we're on the road to out of town "thank you Jessie."

He smirks a little "I think I should be the one saying thank you."

Laughing a little "seriously thank you."

We pull up to a massive house in the middle of nowhere and he turns off the car. Once the car was off Jessie leans over and kisses my forehead "you never need to thank me for protecting you. I'd do it in a heartbeat."
