"Didn't you say you were waiting for Reo to get something he forgot?" He asked with a hint of frustration, mostly because he couldn't seem to understand or get a read of what this servant was thinking of.

"It mustn't be important if he hasn't come back yet." She replied simply as she settled on the seat, her hand holding onto the car door. "My young master is a cunning person and rarely makes mistakes. He probably left it there on purpose when he realized it was useless to him for this day." She explained before giving him a curt nod. "I'll be off now."

[Name] watched as she closed the door before beginning to drive off. He stayed there staring at the spot the car used to be with a blank look. 'He probably left it there on purpose when he realized it was useless to him.' He thought back to the last thing she said.

If he became useless in Reo's eyes, would he leave him too?

He clenched his fist and bit his lip as he let the particularly dark thought sullen his mood so early in the day. He stood there for a few more seconds before breathing deeply and deciding to head inside.

He'd rather be sad but sitting than be sad out here in the open.

He was about to turn until a yell from a familiar voice had him stopping mid-step.

"Ba-Ya? Ba-Ya!" Reo yelled as he ran to the front gate with a tired Nagi following him lazily from behind. [Name] couldn't help but stare with slightly wide eyes as they stopped after noticing his presence.

"[Name]!" Reo greeted him with a surprised yell before running even faster to tackle him into a hug. "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever! Where have you been? You completely missed Friday and didn't attend the club's first meeting!" Reo pouted, his words flowing right after the other.

Nagi, although not as obvious, seemed to brighten a bit at seeing [Name] as he walked just a bit faster to reach where the childhood friends were. "You should've come. It was a hassle dealing with Reo alone."

"Wha- Hey!" Reo huffed in offense at the sentence as he turned to glare at the lazy teen. [Name] couldn't only stand there awkwardly as Reo kept a firm arm around his shoulder.

"Sorry, I was feeling a bit homesick and left out of impulse." He explained briefly in an apologetic tone. "It was a sudden decision so I couldn't inform anyone."

"Ahh, that's perfectly fine!" Reo was quick to assure the other with a smile before suddenly remembering why he even came out here in the first place. "Oh, right! Have you seen Ba-Ya?"

"Oh, she was waiting here earlier but she just left." His gaze unconsciously flickered in the direction she drove off. "Why?"

"I left something in the car and went back to get it. I thought she'd notice and wait until I came to get it but it seems like I took too long." He seemed to deflate a bit at not making it in time.

"That's what you get for entertaining everyone that passes by and greets you." Nagi huffed with a blank look.

"She...thought you purposefully left it in the car after realizing you didn't need it." [Name] whispered the statement Ba-Ya had told him.

"Ha? If I didn't need it then I wouldn't have brought it along in the first place." Reo clicked his tongue before sighing. "Nevermind, I'll just have her come back later on a free period." He then grabbed [Name]'s wrist and began to tug him along further into the school. "Come on, let's go inside. I have so many things to tell you!"

[Name] couldn't help but stare at the gentle hold that was wrapped around his wrist securely. Something about the firm grip made him feel warm as he looked up to state at the bright grin Reo was giving him.
