consume me

you hate your jealousy

the way she claws up your skin,
consuming your body like the lifeless void you are,
absorbing your soul,
leaving you plagued and doomed.

the way she wells in your eyes,
clouding your vision,
giving you a blurred sense of reality,
you can't depict whats real and what is fake.

the way her figure wraps around your heart
clutching it in her painful grasp,
but she does not break you, no
for it hurts less to be shattered.

the ways she engulfs your mind,
she tricks around on an endless loop.
there is no way out
she will not stop.

so consume me,
for i am far to gentle to be shattered.
