Chapter 14- Darkest Hour (Part 2)

Suddenly, the Vehicon run out of the Ground Bridge. They surround the Autobots and their human friends while aiming their ion blasters at them. Back at the Base, Rachet noticed that the screen beeped.

"Optimus, were you successful?" Rachet asked.

In the garage, June has the phone against her ear. Fiona is with her. She's wearing a denim short-sleeved knee-length dress, a brown belt, and ankle-length brown boots.

"Ratchet? It's June Darby with Fiona Fadal. How are you?" June asked through the phone.

"Busy, Miss Darby. I am expecting urgent news from the Autobots." Rachet replied over the phone.

"Oh. Is Jack with them?" June asked through the phone.

"No." Rachet answered.

"What about Lydia?" Fiona asked through the phone.

"No. Why?" Rachet asked over the phone.

"Lydia hasn't come back home. She even returned my calls or texts." Fiona explained.

"Neither is Jack." June added.

"I will have Jack and Lydia contact you immediately should I hear from them. Now if you'll excuse me, I must keep the comm lines clear." Rachet tells them.

He hangs up.

"Rachet? Hello?!" June shouted.

"June, he hung up." Fiona confirmed.

June looks outside as she worries about Jack. Back on Cybertron, the Autobots and their human friends are still surrounded by Vehicons.

"Now bear witness as a new era dawns on Cybertron." said Megatron.

Starscream, Knockout, Shadowblade, and Soundwave insert the Omega Keys into the Omega Lock.

"Behold! The age of the Decepticons!"

Megatron presses a button, causing beam to hit a destroyed building. The building reconstructs itself back into a full building.

"By the All Spark." Optimus says in shock.

Bumblebee beeps while everyone looked on in shock.

"Instant home makeover." said Miko.

"Shiny." Knockout noted in awe.

"You have what you want, Megatron. This conflict is between Autobots and Decepticons. Allow me to return the humans to Earth." Optimus demanded.

"Oh, I wouldn't recommend it. They'll be far safer here. Is the space bridge locked on target?" Megatron asked Starscream.

"Per your instructions, Lord Megatron." Starscream confirmed with a bow.

"Excellent. Why rule only one world when I could rule two?" said Megatron.

A Space Bridge appears above the Omega Lock. The Omega Lock fires an energy beam through the Space Bridge. The energy beam heads towards Earth. Back in the garage, June is trying to call Jack while Fiona paces back and forth.

They hear a crash outside and run out of the garage. June accidentally drops his phone. The two women look at the energy beam. Back at the Base, Rachet is still trying to contact Optimus.

"Optimus, do you read? An unknown energy spike in Earth's atmosphere is crashing all my systems. Please tell me this is related to the activation of the Omega lock." Rachet says through the comlink.

Back on Cybertron, our heroes witness what happened.

"If the Omega lock can restore Cybertron, it'll do the same to Earth, right?" Miko asked.
