Last night felt like a scene pulled out of a romance movie. Dinner at The Eiffel Tower, overlooking one of the most beautiful cities I've had the pleasure of admiring in person, with my favourite person.

I open my eyes, waking myself right out of my pillow thoughts. My favourite person? Did I just think that?

Truthfully, this weekend has been perfect, and Harlow was the reason for it all. She planned everything, she was there with me, we did everything together, we spent so much time together. If I could stay in any one of the moments we shared this weekend for my whole life, I'd do it in a heartbeat. She made every second of this weekend special, and I couldn't have imagined or asked for more.

I hear shuffling in the bedroom as I roll onto my back in the bed, letting my eyes slowly adjust to the bright light shining through the window.

Harlow's back was facing me, as she leaned over the table in our room, her suitcase open and splayed all over it, as she seemed to pack something into it.

That's right, we go back to the mansion today. This trip was like a step outside of reality, in the moment, it felt never-ending - now it seems to have rushed past us too fast. I make myself comfortable under the warm bedsheets, curling into them slightly when Harlow turns around after hearing my movement.

"Elodie," She says, smiling when our eyes meet, she turns around fully, leaning against the table, "Good morning, my love."

I smile back, "Is it?" I respond, my tone unserious, which Harlow realises quickly. She lets out a small laugh, turning back around to continue her packing.

"I knew you'd love Paris as much as I do. I hate to leave, darling, but there's a lot for me to get back to." Harlow responds, glancing over her shoulder at me once while she spoke.

"I do - and I know. I understand that. I've loved everything about this trip, thank you, Harlow. I wouldn't have chosen any other way to spend my weekend." I tell her as I adjust myself in bed and sit up, sliding my legs off the bed to sit at the edge, gazing over at her.

Harlow turns around and walks over to me. She stops before me and looks down as I look up at her. "I feel the same, El. I'm glad you enjoyed it." She reaches a hand out and places it on the side of my face, her thumb caressing my cheek before she leans down and kisses me softly. I kiss her back and linger in the moment for mere seconds before she pulls away with a small smile and walks back to the table

I could live in this moment for eternity.

"We wouldn't have time to go out anywhere, so I ordered us breakfast from somewhere I think you'll like, it's coming in half an hour, that okay?" Harlow asks me, acknowledging my nod before getting back to packing.

I stand up and stretch while she's not looking, then take a step towards the glass door to the balcony, gazing over at the city around us. The short breeze from the open door flushes into my room, tainting chills down my bare legs, as my silk slip-dress flows at its hem.
