''chan, can you come to me right now...please?'' you asked over the phone weakly, an IV drip on one arm and a bunch of weird monitors connected all over your body
''is it urgent baby? I need about 30 minutes to finish my work but I can try to cut it short if it is. you sound a bit off, where are you?'' he asked, whilst you could hear him typing and clicking away in the background, probably working on a new track or something
''not to alarm you but uhm- I'm at the hospital''

-and with that, he rapidly hung up and was practically already driving to the hospital, trying to keep himself as calm as possible since he didn't know what was wrong with you just yet, so overreacting would only make it worse. was he speeding and driving in the most irresponsible way ever, something nobody would ever expect from him? yes, but being by your side was all that mattered to him right now
-you were running some errands whilst being what you thought was tired, but you did what a girl gotta do. before you could comprehend what was going on, you got so lightheaded and must've collapsed, because you opened your eyes to the bright ceiling of a hospital room with multiple nurses surrounding you, all running some sort of test of their own, suspecting you to have anaemia
''[name]? [name]!!'' your boyfriend cried out, running over to you and being taken aback by the sight of all the machines and drips connected to you, which made his already irrational thinking worsen, ''it's not- it's not serious, is it..?''
-luckily, the nurse was really patient and understanding, she took the time to explain everything to chan and calmed him down since at one moment he looked sicker than the actual patient, you. she also explained to him how you had to stay the night for a few more test to run in the morning before you could leave, which upon hearing he turned his head to look at you right away, noticing the slight tremble in your hands
-he knew you had horrible hospital anxiety and staying in the hospital overnight would be really difficult for you, but he was ready to stay with you and do anything to make it as comfortable as possible for you
"don't ever scare me like that again'' he exhaled, for the first time this evening, ''I thought you got into a horrible accident or something, I thought of all the worst scenarios!''
''I'm sorry,'' you mumbled, seeing chan glare at you with his sharp eyes for a moment to indicate you have nothing to apologise for, ''I knew you probably have a lot of work to get on with and now I'm just inconveniencing you even more-''
''don't you dare try and apologise for this, it's no inconvenience for me and it's also not something you could control happening either, you know you're my number one priority. I would give up everything if I had to if it meant always being by your side'' he replied, brushing a stray hair out of your face and giving you his reassuring smile you most definitely needed, ''how about I go get you something tasty to eat from outside, so that you don't have to eat the gross hospital food, and we'll chill for the rest of the night together, how does that sound?''
