CHAPTER 35

THIRD PERSON POV:

GABRIELLE senses something's wrong, and his brother might be hiding something. He  observed everything from his move, hearing Sein talking with Natasha or friends of Natasha made him feel uncomfortable.

“Uuwi ako sa Russia tonight, would you like to come with me?” he tried to talk with Sein.

“Nope,” Sein declined.

“I'm attending a meeting with my team at Taguig tonight. I'll do visit the house if I have a spare time.” He explained.

“Okay,” he answered.

Sein left without a warning, so Gabrielle decided to call his men for an update, but instead, the detective called him. He picked it up and listened to the explanation from the the detective.

“Sir, good evening, I bumped into your ex-girlfriend this afternoon, and she's in jail.” Detective said.

“Related ba ‘yan sa trabaho mo?” Gabrielle asked as he run his fingers to his hair.

“She's accused of spreading fake news by your brother, I also saw some deleted screenshots and photos about ms Natasha being pregnant.” Detective added.

Gabrielle's body went numb upon hearing a such news, sino ang ama ng dinadala nitong bata?

“Is it confirmed already?” his world crushed in an instant when the detective went silent.

He's dumbfounded, there's no point in finding Natasha anymore. He just ended the call and broke his phone in anger, he smashed everything he could inside his brother’s apartment.

“What did I've done wrong?”

“I did fucking everything, I'm sorry…” he just kneeled with his hands covered with his own blood.

“Ano bang ginawa ko para kamuhian mo ako?” he cried.

Maraming tanong ang tumatakbo sa isip niya, pero ang pinaka namumuo dito ay ang. ‘Minahal mo ba talaga ako?’

He decided to leave Sein’s place and went to a nearby store to buy few alcoholic drinks, before flying to Russia. May private house naman sila doon kaya doon niya gusto ilabas ang lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman niya.

Naisipan niyang bumalik sa Hotel, where his brother is currently staying, mabuti nalang at mabait ang staff ng hotel at pinayagan siyang tumawag sa ibang line. He called his Secretary to bought him new phone and to text Sein that ‘his apartment is kinda not in a good condition’.

“Come here at XXX hotel, I'll be waiting.” he said before cutting the line.

“Thank you so much, ma'am,” he smiled while thanking the staff and went outside, upang doon hintayin ang sundo niya.

Ilang minuto ang lumipas at dumating na ang sundo niya, pagkapasok niya sa loob ng kotse ay may folder na nag aantay sa kaniya sa upuan niya.

“Where did you get this?” he asked.

Nang inangat niya ang folder ay isa isang nahulog ang mga laman nitong litrato, a picture of Natasha happily spending time with Sein.

He picked it up one-by-one, habang nag b-build up  sa kaniya ang nakikita niya ay parang huminto ang mundo at oras na kinagagalawan niya. His mind finally think that, Sein might be the Father of Natasha’s baby.

He starts sobbing, his Secretary didn't know what to do. “After all the sacrifices I did, he betrayed me with the woman I love the most?” hindi makapaniwalang ani niya.
